$80 To Who Can Help Me Best With This

Hi guys, I will be offering $50 to who ever can help me find the best way possible to do this. I need to know that I'm doing it the best way possible & what I can do to help this work best to get better rankings. So here's what I'm trying to achieve & what I need to know.

I'm creating sub domains from my main site to rank for specific keywords that are low competition. Here's my site (www.businessdirectory.com.au) disregard the look of the site, it's about to be updated & completely re-designed.

Scroll down the bottom of the site and you will see I have sub domain links on my home page, this is to get the sub domains indexed by Google fast. As you can see these sub domains are targetting a specific keyword. If you Google "Plumber Rockingham" in Google Australia. You will see on page 2, (www.plumberrockingham.businessdirectory.com.au) Now most of the time the sites are on the 1st page & they're the ones I charge my clients for. Like if you Google "Plumber Bentley" or "Plumber Bassendean". So you can see what I'm trying to achieve, I don't just do this for Plumbers, I target all Australian businesses.

Now what I need to do, is figure out a way to get these sub domains to rank a little better without using any effort. I obviously don't have the time to do SEO on each sub domain, so I need some automated ways to get these sites moving up on the page. I won't be able to change the content on these sites as there are to many of them. So an automated way that would help these sites get better rankings over time.

These guys are my competitors (www.communityguide.com.au) & (www.street-directory.com.au)

The system I'm having created at the moment will work like this. I log into my website, select a template, build the customers advertising site, select the keyword & category I'm targeting (EG. Electrician - Hawthorn). Then the site will be uploaded to my server and a link on the home page of my site will appear to have it indexed. Once the site is indexed and appears on the 1st page I charge the clients for them.

So how can I get these sites ranking above my competitors without any effort. Here's some of the searches where I rank below my competitor (www.communityguide.com.au). Please search on Google.com.au

Most of my competition are directory listings, what I really need is a way to get these sub domains ranking better than my competitors. I'm currently building links to my domain because I know this helps my sub domains rank better, and I already know that I have to increase my PR to get the sub domains ranking better as well.

And to who ever can help me the best & give me any other tips on what I could be doing, will receive $80.

Yahoo Site Explorer shows 44 inbound links for the plumber site, and over 2K for the main site. Remember that G' sees each sub as a seperate domain, so the link value and ranking gets parsed or split up.

You could consider a ScrapeBox blast from one of the threads here split across the subs. For the tougher kw's and the main, consider something like BassTrackerBoats thread for a more sophisticated approach. Other systems here as well, these are just ideas, not endorsements or favorites.

Use lots of interlinking with relevant anchor text on your website.

For example:
businessdirectory.com.au links to > businessdirectory.com.au/rockingham using anchor text 'Rockingham businesses'. businessdirectory.com.au/rockingham then links to > plumbersrockingham.businessdirectory.com.au using the anchor text 'Rockingham plumbers'

URLs/Keywords used are just examples

well if you can get ranked without any effort there will be no xrumer, scrapebox etc. on the market..

as directory listing your competitor you should also start to do this with accompany social bookmarking and linkbuilding.

I see what you mean with regards to interlinking on the home page and other pages, will this really help me much more? I was going to do something similar, this is the new site I will be launching it's almost finished http://dev-s.omsoftware.us/businessdirectory.com.au/2011-03-17/

I was thinking to do plenty of interlinking on the home page below, like these guys do www.communityguide.com.au

And I don't see how I would be able to do this with social media? Considering it would take way to much effort to promote every page that needs to rank.

What I'm looking for is something that will help me when I build sites like this www.plumbercanningvale.businessdirectory.com.au Get the best rankings possible and out rank my competitors, without updating content or anything like that. Because of the amount of sites that are created I wouldn't have the time to update anything on them. Also I've blasted some of the sub domains with Scrapebox but it didn't really seem to help much.

Well of course your page rank will have an effect first and foremost. Second, definitely interlink your site across pages helps that much more.

Buy some other High Pr Sites and link them to yours or buy some home page links for a monthly fee. I honestly prefer the first choice when trying to boost pr.

Yes but when you buy a site, once the registrant name changes the PR will reset right? I've bought sites before, changed the site and next PR it went lower than original.

You are aiming to be #1 in Australia covering hundreds (maybe thousands) of business types. And $80 for this work.

Do you do the same work if someone offers $800 not $80? Please be reasonable.

2 Respect for people who will do this. Only a child who does not know what will be done can accept such a quote.

No you have it all wrong man, what I want is someone to look at what I'm trying to achieve & tell me if I'm doing anything wrong. Also tell me if I can do anything to help me rank better than my competitors. I have said this multiple times throughout the thread, if you read it you would of seen that. I do not want anyone to program anything for me or design anything on my website. I'm simply looking for advice from someone that knows every aspect of SEO. And to who ever takes the time to help me with this, will get $80. It wouldn't take any longer than 20-30 minutes to look at what I'm doing and see if I can better it in anyway.

What I know at the moment, the more backlinks and higher PR my domain is, the better my sub domains will rank. Interlinking will also help them some, I have had suggestions before of adding a SEO website check system, that will check the site for SEO and give you a score. But I can't think of anything else because this is not my field, although I know a lot about SEO and web design in general, it's not something I spend hours on each day.

That's where you're going wrong. All subdomains are treated independtly, this is why we have to specify the www or not, as www is a subdomain. If you don't specify google behaves as though you have two sites (I use a .htaccess for this for every site rather than G webmaster tools.

Each time you create a sub domain it is a brand new site.

So, to rank each sub domain you need to follow the same steps that you would for a new domain.

If you're looking at minimum time (something automated) then subscribing to one of the article marketing sites where you can earn credits by publishing their content (use a different domain for this) then you can add an article for each client, which will bring in a few backlinks.

You can use scrapebox and add the subdomains to the websites to be blasted.

I don't know what your business model is, but I would include a cost for some SEO with the site, or use some of the passive income if there is any to invest monthly on SEO for each subdomain.

The only importance google places on the subdomain/main domain relation is to try and ensure that you can't dominate the top 10 with the use of your own sub domains, so if you have loads of subdomains all reflecting the content of your main domain, google will restrict the number of results served from all of those domains.

Do I not win the 80 bucks then?

Outsource, outsource, outsource. You don't have time to do SEO for every page, but somebody around here does. If your on-page SEO is lacking, hire a VA for a couple weeks and get them to fix it all up for you. Great long-term investment.

If it's your off-page SEO/linkbuilding that needs some help, visit the buy/sell services section and try out some of the good cheaper packages there. For $20, you can get anything from a few high-quality articles on high PR sites to 5,000 lower quality links, and everything in between. Try several on several different subdomains, keep track of what you used where, and what the results were. Figure out what service(s) work best for you, and blast the rest of your sites with them.
