yes 8.0 is very powerful earthquake,hope everyone is warned and fine

8.0 is a big one, usually the Tsunami warnings for Alaska end up being OK as its centered somewhere unpopulated or is a small wave, hope so today as well!

Wow, an 8.0! That's very large and pretty serious, a tsunami would be devastating from that kind of power. I hope and pray everyone is safe!
