7k views on a monetized video! now what?

It is very well possible that you did not get any clicks at all. If you have a video on for example some anime stuff, not many people advertise for those kinds of things therefore you will have little to no income. On top of that it might be that your views come from 3rd/4th tier countries.
You already receive income if they continue watching the pre-load ads fully (for example if they won't click the skip ad after 5 seconds you will get some income) the little banners that pop-up after 10 seconds however are not being clicked on very often, at least that is what I experienced.

That doesn't make sense, on every one of my horrible vids, they are generating moneys, sure its only pennies but yet vids with less then 100 views have generated a few pennies.
do you have both ad types clicked in the options?
if not, click them both.
is the $ lit up in the video manager?
this vid of mine only has a few views and generated me a whole dime
proof, so you know I am not lying, all my vids have made a few pennies and they all suck
