Seen many people here selling link profile clean up with recovery from algo updates within 72 hours. Quite a few people here post good reviews. Is this possible? I thought you were forced to wait for a Penguin refresh but they offer rank recovery in days.

Considering dropping the cash but why did people wait a year to see if their 2.1 penguin detox worked when apparently you can work some magic in a matter of days?

I was reading a blog on Penguin 3.0 and someone commented saying that they had been waiting for this update to roll out and had taken certain steps to recover their clients websites from the previous update which worked. So I'm not sure if you can use a service to recover your site before the next update, but if you do manage to give it a try let us know how it worked out for you.

Using such service is setting yourself up to be scammed, NOBODY knows the implications of this update, first their has to be some testing done after the dust has settled to see what still works and what not. People who offer P3 recovery services are full of sh*t, save your money and wait till the first test results are published

That helps, I'll put it towards SEO on my copycat site. So are these people paying for reviews as I see members with a high post count saying their slapped domain revovered rankings in a few days after they'd left it for dead.

I thought it seemed weird that people were somehow recovering before a refresh.

I know you know your stuff, I got slapped two years running now, and I really can't have this happen again as I spend so long finally getting a salary only for it to be smashed... What can I do to survive the next Penguin in your opinion? I rely on BSTs but what should I look for and avoid if I need long term ranks and what strategy would you suggesr to me? I can't learn myself for time/money reasons when I need cash to eat.

Sorry for grammar I'm on a mobile lol.

I was told to wait until the end of the month for them to understand the update and then I guess they'd ressurect it from the dead... But this is literally impossible right because algo slaps are permanent until a refresh or update? Does Panda work this way too, btw?

Panda has been rolled out at a pretty frequent clip. The reason it was such an issue with Penguin (at least legit sites) was the fact that Penguin took a year to update. Also, and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Panda targeted pages versus site wide which Penguin does.

There is a quote floating around out there from google about the need to refresh Penguin more regularly because it was insane that business owners who bought spammy link packages were shat on for a year. We'll see though, that might just be lip service.

Oh and I'll echo everyone else by saying save your money.

Even if these "gurus" knew what links were harmful (hint they don't) cleaning up the link profile prior to the end of the roll out wouldn't happen. So yeah, you're waiting for the next Penguin which could be a month, six months or a year out.

LMAO so those service providers can fix your site in just few days... Must be some Google Inside job lol... Check if they got big SEO guru Matt on their payroll... :)

Save your money, bro... Basic rule of life if some thing is too good to be true then most probably it is some kind of hoax....

Perhaps they are using 301 redirects. 301 redirects can help your site recover from penguin within days but it's usually temporary.

There is no way to recover from Penguin in 72 hours. That's utter bullshit. You'll need to wait till the next refresh.

Yeah my friend save your money. I've seen too many over confident indians/pakistanis who claim to be the best that was ever created but they don't know anything more then the next guy. All you can do is give up on google atm and work on building a site for the long run. I believe google is a waste of time now.

There is no such a thing as "Penguin Recovery Service". Or maybe there is but it definitely doesn't work.

Yea if you could really recover from Penguin that fast don't you think more people would know about it.

This is an opportunity for all of these scammers to cash in.

Just google "penguin 3.0 recovery" and check out all of the adwords ads running right now.

All they can do is the following:

    1) compile your backlinks

    2) run a link removal campaign

    3) submit reconsideration request

all of which you can do yourself. One service I can recommend though is link detox they seem to be legit and have helped me remove some toxic links. IMO removing toxic links is a preventative measure, not something to be done on the ass end of a penguin slap. It's just not going to cut it.

Bottom line is this: If the final decision is up to google and these "recovery services" have to submit a reconsideration request, how in the world can they possibly guarantee anything that google will say or do within the next 72 hours. They are not google therefore is ultimate BS sales buzztalk.

That is 10 days, how can someone do proper testing in 10 days when a new domain already takes 3/4 weeks to rank top 20 and then you have to test and analyze different hypotheses of what work and what doesn't, i think it would be fair to say that you can have hard data (not to be confused with speculation or best guesses) in two to four months.

Perhaps they do forum spamming with rehashed open door advice.

I agree! Google is no good! But my niche is diseases and medicine, not very social media friendly and the commission on meds is lower than AdSense clicks so paying for ads is out of the question... Hmm...

I think I know which blog you're talking about, based on the comments there. You should know that 99% of those comments are from self-promiting major league bullshitteers with no hope in life.
