The reason why this never works is very clear. You buy from Alibaba, Aliexpress, DH Gate or whatever and sell on eBay. Do you know that the same AliBaba seller you bought from also is on eBay and selling the same product, for a way cheaper price than you ever can sell it?
eBay nowadays is full of Chinese and Hong Kong sellers which sell products they sell on sites like AliBaba for same or even LOWER price on eBay, so how you are going to compete with them?
When this was posted in 2008 maybe it worked, but nowadays really no way.
 
is ebay still profitable? i thought the fees are so high now

I bought a lot from alibaba and similar websites. They are not a scam, i never got a problem.
 
absolutely the chinese sellers are now already selling directly on ebay so there is no way that you can beat them. Just wondering if there are still any profitable niches left for newbies.
