Figured I'd contribute. I scraped a little over 400 .edu guestbooks which are perfect for dropping a link.

Extremely useful post.

Imo .edu and .gov guest books are one of the best ways to link build in the first week or two of a new domain.

You can't build too many links or you will get sandboxed, so this links you do make need to be high PR. This list is a great resource of those kind of links.
