This list needs to be scrubbed as roughly 7-8% of these sites no longer exist since the 2-3 years since it was compiled. Additionally some of the sites are junk and may actually hurt your ranking with their low quality auto generated bs. I may (or may not depending on amount of free time in the near future) publish on this thread a scrubbed list but it won't be nearly as large, probably between 400-500.

I was wondering on this thread and just thought to give a try to random directories as the thread owner said "Approved Directories"
Here is the status of few of them:

ihyl.com redirecting to Facebook.com
i-newswire.com - PR Submission website
izxb.com - Adsense for domain.
picna.com - Adsense for domain.

I guess, if we will use these directories to submit the link, then probably again we will come up with 300-400 from 700 Directories.

I dont have any surprise for the same since this is a list of 2011 and very old one.
