Re: this idea for slipstreaming, do you have any more info on this guy in the example? Was there any truth to the voting part? Or was he just trying to get people there and hope that the free ring tones would entice them into signing up?

No link needed. Read the thread, understand it, apply it.

Note:

You have to invest some bucks in advertising (e.g. Google Adwords)

Or just see what's hot on You Tube, fake a parody video of your own with title containing the keywords of the hottest YouTube video, and post your URL and ad in the description, plus make a screen shot at the end of the clip with your ad and your URL.

Make a very attractive ad, as in the example at the top of the thread.
Put some irresistible incentive there.

Well, I gave you another method to sell your product.

Read carefully the ad examples. There are very strong appeals in it. See the voting part in the example below:

Well, the fastest source of information is still Google search, you just have to know the proper keywords, and some experience of how to filter results.

Michel, you mentioned sites that pay per impression. Are you talking about thenewsroom or somewhere else?
 
Yesterday evening I tried this method.
I saw a nice phrase which were climbing to the top and becoming very hot. Google showed only 17 results for that (quite strange... havent found any good info about that phrase, only spam blogs).

I decided to make a blogger blog on it, set it up, put it on some cpa offers.Then I copied one of the blog's content and rewrited a little (not much, copyscape found it) then stumbled it once as you advised in this topic.

Then nothing happened. About 9 hours passed and google still not indexed it. So WTF?
This method works only if you get indexed vey fast, lets say in an hour. Any ideas?

Nope! This method works if you set up your AdWords campaign.
Read again carefully the report. You can't expect to get indexed by natural search in minutes. You have to place your paid ads to get visitors within the next hour. Did you set up your AdWords campaingn?
 
Why did you delete my post? All I said was that I don't think those are reasons to not use this method, just to pay attention to what you're doing. Based on %'s the method does seem to work just by using google alerts to come up with ideas.

No I havent. I wanted to test the free way first.

I done it like Michel advised:
Look for thye hottest words, click on them and see the trend.
Below that are articles on blogs.
Just copy that and put it on your page, you can leave the writers name on their so there is no copy violation.

Social bookmark your site and you are done for that page.

It makes sense. All I needed is to be indexed very fast. Is that possible? I will digg BHW for some techniques for it, hope I find one.

Maybe I will set up an adwords campaing and try it out tonight.
 
The "free way" will be irrelevant by the time its indexed. You need to reverse your thinking. Pay a little to see if something is worth putting the time into.

Also, this method works for current events which come and go. No one is going to care about TI in a couple months, unless of course he murders someone which I guess is possible.
