Are you really surprised? At the same time, who spends more than $500k for 1 million+ likes?

Facebook is overvalued, oversold, and just-plain-over. It's just a matter of time. Doesn't matter though, because Facebook was always about making its owners and investors rich - nothing else. So, it's been a success by the only standard that ever counted.

Think there's still money in facebook even in their ads but yeah this can happen I don't get how you can spend 500k on facebook with just a few million followers tbh you should know most are fake.

Also facebook and other companies actually using blackhat tricks isn't strange or new they're the biggest scammers of the industry our ''blackhat'' usually doesn't hurt anyone their ''blackhat'' hurts everyone especially small business owners.

you dont protect yourself you just make sure your next strategy is better than the next and move on...wherever there are mouses being clicked, there is a lot of money to be made...it just depends on the intelligence of the man who is promoting =)

"Facebook fanbase was becoming polluted with thousands of fake likes from bogus accounts. He can no longer tell the difference between his real fans and the fake ones. Many appear fake because the users have so few friends, are based in developing countries, or have generic profile pictures." ...... i have experienced the same .

It all sounds like a madeup story to me . Talking about "FAKE ACCOUNTS" , you got to know your targeting . If you are not targeting right and getting fans who are not interested in your stuff , you will not get good response and call them fake .

Coming down to the budget part , He had a budget of $600000 and he spent around $640000 according to him. I have never seen an agency/individual crossing his marketing budget when he is not getting a good ROI .

Talking about and UNPAID BILL OF $379000 , what kind of account he holds ? Mind telling me it was a daily limit account , a threshold account or what ? In any case , I don't think any advertising company (specially Facebook) will allow such a huge unpaid bill.

Facebook's tracking is pathetic I agree on that .
