I have some questions about your last point: targeting low search keywords dayily


Basically what does it mean?

Does it mean that I search for low competition and low searched keywords, and then I put them on my articles, in my Head tag, IMG tag on a dayly basis or weekly basis?

Example: my website is about Art

My main keyword is ''How to make art''

Let's suppose that I find a low search keywords ''Arts and shopping'' ... then I write an article and will insert this keyword in header and IMG tag in order to rank the website?

Do I need to do it with every low search kw related to my niche? Weekly?

I have understood :

some pages of your website are in on 2th or 3th page in Google.


You target them, and from the website you build internal link to that pages with a long tail anchor text

This could make those pages rank higher in google thanks to the internal link jiuce?


But what's the point of ranking higer some pages of your websites for long tail keywords? More traffic, ok. But how do you know FOR WHICH long tail kw you should rank those pages?

I have a silo structured website

How can interlink the long tails low volume keywords and still ''respect'' this SILO structure without hurt the silo

Awesome post. I'm especially keen on your suggestion about tracking PPC ads and heavily borrowing their language and presentation for your own meta description.

As far as low hanging fruit, there is really no other way to start a blog these days. With sandboxing, links becoming too expensive and authority sites gaining further and further strength, this is the only way the little guy is going to get ranked without hitting a viral post home run (not good odds if you are an average writer).
