Hey. I previously created an account using a VPN, but I was banned even though I only used it to create an account and then didn't use it again. I heard on the forum that it is better to use a proxy. So I have a few questions:
1. Why is a proxy better than a VPN and provides less likelihood of getting banned?
2. Should I use a proxy only to set up my account, or should I use it all the time when using TikTok?
3. I used an eSIM card from the US. When using a proxy located in the US, do I need an eSIM card so that most of the audience is from the US?
4. What type of proxy is best?
5. Which proxy service do you recommend, which one have you used and praised?
6. I heard that it's hard to use proxy on iphones. Is it better to use proxy on PC or iphones? And How to use proxy on iPhone if it is hard. Because as all we know it is recommended to use Iphones instead o Android for TikTok from other countries.

vpn is shared so other users who are spamming tiktok will be linked back to you.
Yes use the proxy to create the account and then keep using the proxy when you use the account

1 - VPNs are great, but they encrypt ALL your traffic, which can sometimes trigger TikTok's banhammer. Proxies just reroute your connection for TikTok, so it might seem less suspicious.

2 - Up to you. Some folks just use it for signup, others keep it on all the time. Depends if you want a US audience or not.

3 - eSIM isn't strictly necessary for a US proxy, but it can help convince TikTok you're really in the States. Up to you if the extra hassle is worth it.

4 - Free proxies can be slow and unreliable, so a paid service is best.

5 - Do your research. Look for reviews and make sure they're TikTok-friendly.

6 - iPhones can be trickier, but not impossible. There are proxy apps you can get. Search for "proxy browser" apps and see what works for you.

1. Because you have dedicated IP address that only you use
2. Its better if you use proxy all time , but depends what you do
3. You can use any sim from US I think
4. Residential for your case
5. Oxylabsm but need to test different
6. You can use potatso app for proxy on Iphone, better to use antidetect browser on PC

From what I see on the web, Residental Proxies start at $3/GB of data. Sometimes I upload TikToks weighing ~200MB. In what way is it profitable for beginners? Obviously when using a proxy not just to set up an account.

1. VPN IP quality is not good for TikTok cause they share the same IP with all customers. other hand when you use a dedicated proxy you are the only one who is using the IP or fewer people using the same IP.
2. Use one proxy from the account to create and run the account cause if you change your proxy your reach will decrease for location changes.
3. using eSIM will help you to get more audience around us cause it will prove that you are exactly from us. but if you have a good quality proxy then no need for an eSIM.
4. Don't go for a cheap rate proxy or free proxy. used a paid proxy which is TikTok friendly.
5. there are a lot of proxies available for TikTok.but you have to decide by self-research. If you know about RDP . Then go for RDP which supports emulators. RDP IP quality is best for TIktok.
6. If you want to use a proxy on your iPhone then install Shadowrocket you can connect every type of proxy on that app the problem is you have to buy it from the Apple store. on the other hand, if you use a proxy on a PC/android device then every app is free.

then use RDP. most of the TikTok users use RDP.

Sorry but could you elaborate on this acronym?
RDP means Remote Desktop Protocol. It's also called virtual machine or VPS. It's a virtual computer you can access it from your PC. Different kinds of cloud providers like Azure, AWS, and Digital Ocean provide this service. you can use a USA virtual computer from your local PC. For more information about that you can search in this forum.

You can’t use VPNs on any social platform (unless it’s actually your own naturally made account) if you’re automating or multi accounting - chances are there’s already a bunch of users that have used the same IP prior so your accounts will get flagged.

  • A proxy is better than a VPN because it allows more control over IPs and device fingerprinting VPNs are often shared or flagged and TikTok can detect that A clean residential proxy looks more like a real user
  • You should use the same proxy consistently not just at setup TikTok tracks location patterns and sudden changes in IP or device can trigger verification or bans
  • If your goal is to reach a US audience using a US based proxy is more important than using a US eSIM but using both adds trust signals and helps with algorithm targeting
  • The best type of proxy is a rotating residential proxy or a dedicated residential IP Mobile proxies work well too especially for TikTok because they mimic real user behavior more naturally
  • Trusted proxy providers include Proxyrack Soax and MobileHop Some users also have good experience with 4G proxy resellers who give real device based IPs but make sure they rotate cleanly and are not overused
  • Yes using proxy on iPhone is harder than on PC because iOS has limited system level proxy settings and apps like TikTok can ignore basic proxy configs It’s easier and more stable to use proxies on PC or Android For iPhone you need to set the proxy in WiFi settings or use a mobile proxy device setup with USB tethering or a dedicated 4G modem connected to a proxy manager

  1. Proxies, especially mobile ones, offer real residential IPs from carriers, unlike VPNs which often use flagged datacenter IPs ,that’s why bans are more likely with VPNs.
  2. You should keep the proxy active consistently. Using it only during signup and switching later creates fingerprint/IP mismatches.
  3. No, you don’t need a US eSIM if your proxy is US-based. The IP is what determines the visible location for TikTok.
  4. Mobile 4G proxies are the most effective, since they simulate real mobile users and rotate IPs through legit cell towers.
  5. Services that offer raw 4G mobile IPs with session control tend to get the best results if you also control browser fingerprinting.
  6. iPhones are harder for proxying due to OS restrictions. It’s usually easier on Android or by routing through a proxy-configured WiFi or USB tethered connection.

When your creating an account, you should look into using a 4G proxy with rotation in between, in addition, you should also clear device fingerprints by deleting the app and restarting the device.

VPN is not secure, it is best to use a fingerprint browser and bind high-quality proxies to the account
