I'm researching some top ranking sites in order to learn, and came across this site currently ranking #1 for "sex" on google. (free sex videos 2k dot com)

Unless I'm missing something, its 5m old, has almost no backlinks, and little content.

If anyone could provide insights as to how they could be doing this, I'd find it fascinating.

If this happens to belong to someone here, congratulations, and we can kill the thread unless you'd like to share some tips and get massive thanks/reps.

maybe it has no-follow backlinks...and is a former google employee ;-)

There was a thread about this. Search for it. However this website is not on #1 anymore

It does not have "almost no backlinks"!

In fact i have a full report which lists all of it's backlinks which adds up to approx 65k in total!

By looking at the backlink sources, the spam comments and the anchor text he uses you can learn alot!

the secret stands in spamming. nothing else

If it were that easy then everyone would be doing it!

Unfortunately spamming alone will not give you the same results... you need to be a clever spammer.

How are you finding the backlinks?

What is so strange about it?

My domain is like 3 months old and is ranking top5 for 300.000 exact searches keyword...
No spam, no shit. If you know what you are doing you can rank first page for "Making Money" within 4-5 months...

No biggie.

Wow I wonder how it was able to keep its ranking because I have seen some sites like that as well. Very few links and very targeted outranking competitors with more links. However its not on top anymore.

Still ranking #1 on my end. 65k backlinks in 5 mos? And still @ #1?

I was actually unaware commenting was so beneficial. Hmmm. How could I have missed that one?

There was a thread, I think this was achieved by using Xrumer on "learning mode" or whatever. Lots of guestbook links, etc. Guy obviously knows what he is doing and is probably making huge bank, even if the site is only there for a month I mean the traffic that he is most likely getting is insane and highly profitable esp in the sex niche.. once he is deindexed (if it happens), he can rinse and repeat with same or other keywords

sex sites spam like crazy, emails, forums or where ever, loads of links to it

Just because a site is ranked number 1 doesn't mean it will stay there. It's keeping that position which is impressive.

the guy dropped from #1 it seems. but he will repeat it again with another site
