5k Views - $0.30 Is this normal?

My channel is 2 months old never worked with youtube.

3 videos in it. One got 5k views from external source (site of mine legit trafic).

In the revenue reports - Ad rates :

YouTube ad revenue* - $0.30

Estimated monetised playbacks* - 171

Playback-based CPM* - $1.73

CPM - $1.56

I'm kinda lost here. So my CPM seems to be "ok" - $1.56 but the thing I don't get is the monetised playbacks beeing so low.

Is it normal to have only 171 monetised playbacks in 5K views?

5k views and 0.30$ is too low. you should get atleast 0.50$\k that means 2.5$. Maybe you have purchased botted views?

No sir. All visits to my site page where video is embeded comes from facebook page.

idk why. In worst to worse case some people get 0.40$ rpm that will be still 2$ but yours is really low.
Maybe some other experienced bhw member will tell us

This is whats troubling me, only 180 impressions in display ads when they are always there for everyone.

In 5k views only had 180 ads impressions :|

Ahhh! Could this be it?

90% of the trafic to the video page is mobile trafic. When I see my page and play the video from my phone ads aren't shown.

So this could explain the low ad impression. I guess. perhaps someone in same situation could give their insights.

This is not normal.
Normal for 5k is 1$

What is the watch time? Earnings and RPM can change from niche to niche. Also what country views are they??

Watch time (minutes) - 15,098

Traffic is from Latino America.

I would be happy if the RPM would be $1 as it suggesting it is.

Problem is I don't think ads are beeing served when traffic is from mobile and 90% traffic to the video is from mobile devices.

Display Ads only had 180 impressions in those 5k views..

sounds normal if it's from a low tier place like latin America
ad revenue is like non existent from there

But low ad impression is due to not having many advertisers or ads not being displayed on mobile?

Latin America Woman!

From those 5k views only 200 ads were served - which i don't know if it was bc 90% traffic is from mobile device or if the latin american market doesnt have enough advertisers to show ads.

that is very very low, you have to fix something bro

try make longer videos +10 mins

try to add some decent keywords

last question what is your traffic source?
