$50 - $100 is reasonable.

depends on monetize skills - how much do you think you can get out of them, squeeze them to adsense ads, throw them to cpa offers. whatever potential is.

if nothing works, sell them.

$50-100 is reasonable for a diverse set of non-targeted followers.

In short 3K out of the 5K may be IM people -- you never know.

in addition to the above use the create groups tactic to get some decent traffic. Also, you can use it to soft refer to other sites/products that you are promoting.

If it is a fully legit profile then expect to pay $250-1000. That said those who know what they are doing would not sell such an account.
