Hi. First time trying to set up a dropshipping store. I've set up the store, made ads and paid an influencer to post it and add a link in bio. I thought I did my research but so far (5 hours) I didn't manage to get a single store visitor (links working). Ad currently has 400 likes. Could someone guide me through what's happening rn and what can I do to fix it?

Should I ask for click able feed post instead of plain carousel?

Thank you in advance

Are u sure the influencer is not having bots followers and likes?

Thought that he doesn't, not shadowbanned and like profiles are generally active (stories, posts). Would it help if I said which page did I post on?

I m sure he have bots followers and likes, use any performance based marketing agency as PPA (pay per action), PPS (pay per sale), etc... there are many agencies, google it...

You need to be extremely careful with ig sponsored i have tested dozens of ways to maximize my return and personally found submitting multiple content instead of a single post perform 60% more than a single post and also request for demographic of the account check the particular time the influencers audience are more active and utilize it to your advantage.

Its really difficult to say without actually seeing the IG account.

What kinda influencer is it? Personal account? Niche account (for example focusing only on mens beards) ? Or something like a general big account with quotes, memes etc.?

Normally personal accounts work the best, because these influencers have some kinda personal relationship with their followers (or better to say fans)

Checked comments and likes of ppl that did actions on their posts and I guess I miss judged the account. Yesterday after my ad there were too similar comments on the next post. guess it was botted after all.. The ig is meme style beauty page (@thebeautyspage). If sharing the name is not allowed lemme know and I'll remove it, also if u have any advice on the ad/site that ull see I'm desperate for any criticism (sites made for phone use, I'll start working on desktop/phone version soon.

That's the niche that u should be more careful of when looking for influencers !!! Since it's a popular niche some don't even bother to fake it. I'm going to suggest u to look for small influencers ( people that don't even ask if u want a shoutout dm me)

Alright, will do so. Should I search for general pages in that niche or personal accounts? I have a very very low budget atm

I would never even spend 1 cent on "influencers"

but if I had no choice I would find real influencers, real people. A PERSON

and then I would find out WHERE ARE THEIR FOLLOWERS LOCATED. are they from poor 3rd world countries? what is their age range?

Like me 3 years ago Lol. Before u paid an influencer request her stories result, depends that u will know her followe bot or not

Alright guys. Thank you for the help! I will do more research next time and hopefully get some better results :)

Welcome to the age in which I call “stupid money”, when people give money to “influencers” for nothing.

Sponsored posts can work, but it works best with well established people/brands with a strong following. Kylie Jenner, Lebron, etc..

Of course you’ll see many dropshipping gurus recommend using influencers, but I don’t understand why people don’t just use ads and target influencers and their follower’s demographic.

So, use ads. You’ll get all the data you need.

I was a fuken idiot in the beginning, I did not know what I was doing. I regret not paying for ads in the beginning of 2018.

It's really hit or miss with influencers until you try them out. Their follower stats can be inflated and I always try to look at their several posts to see what kind of engagement it gets after it gets posted.

Sup. This is the way to do it. Also, monitor recent post engagement.

Fake followers mate didn’t you ask for his earlier stats
Nah, first time doing it. Lesson learned
Gonna stick to fb ads and continue growing my own ig before monetizing it
