As far as I know, X only pays for click ads on subscriber
many people are cheating X by some simple tool.

I actually recently started a crypto twitter account from scratch! Came on here to figure out how I can grow it and make $$$. Not sure if I should feel motivated or kick myself for not starting earlier 
Throw a DM over. I've over 3 million followers, but it's not on Crypto, however it's a 1 word account.
But no reason why you can't take something and make it better.
Did you find out anything more about this? I too am interested. Please advise.

How many subs are required by Twitter in order to get into the earning program? Would this work if the account has been purchased from the guys who sell mass accounts (because maybe the followers are fake etc?)

Guys, bear in mind that Ansem is one of the most famous crypto traders & was already semi-famous from the last bull run (2021) but became *really* famous in 2023 because of his successful & public call on SOL outperformance.
These results are abnormal and he's already (probably) made tens of millions from trading, so this is actually a small part of the $ he's making and definitely not representative of normal results. He's printing because everyone under the sun knows he's the memecoin guy (successful public call on WIF as well) and wants him to notice & promote their token.
Everyone in Crypto isn't printing this type of $ and this moment may not last forever, but is working right now since we're in a bullish uptrend. So bear this in mind before marvelling that this guy is making $5K/mo from Tweeting when he's literally the most famous person among retail traders right now.

He shares his personal photos, has some X style, and he is posting charts/memes.
Nothing weird here. It is financial niche, so ads pay the best and people love crypto+X
