500 visits a day... what next?

I've done pretty well to get my site to an average of 500 visits/day in 11 months but have hit a bit of a plateau. I'm really struggling to keep it going up, the next goal is 1000 visits a day but seems so far away at the moment.

I'm graduating in May so don't have the time at the moment to do much SEO work myself apart from posting on the blog. Any ideas on what to do next? I'm ranking well for some KWs but not many #1 spots!

You can use WP-Robot for autoposting, and do seo in that time

What?! Pretty well getting your site at the point it grabs 500UV/day within 11 months?? C'mon man you have to do it in less than 11 weeks!
BTW how are you monetizing it? that's the next step...

Get quality backlinks

Are you focusing on SEO only? If that is the case then get more quality backlinks.

If you are also willing to get other traffic, then try youtube i.e uploading videos then at the description you tell "Please visit my site to get...." etc.

Really?

, You don't know his situation, or availability to the trade, getting 500/uv for him could be a huge thing. He didn't ask if his time frame was right... sorry man, its comments like that, that I find ignorant.

I know you probably didn't mean anything by it, but this happens everyday with people talking big games, living in a fantasy.

I'm still learning and certainly ain't a SEO expert, plus when I say 11 months i'm also in my final year at Uni so don't get a lot of time to focus on it. So I outsource most of my SEO when I can afford it.

I have monetized it with adsense but my main income from it is a referral site that pays about $30 per referral. Since the start of December have made around $3000, is that good for a website that gets 500 visits/day?

Yea mate unfortunately being in my final year at Uni it takes up most of my time and money. Will have more time to focus on it over the summer. I thought I was doing well with 500 visits/day though, is my first real site so i'm not sure what is good or what I should be aiming for?

Thanks for all the replies. I know there a lot of stupid questions get asked here but i'm just looking for a bit of direction or advice!

Are you crazy? He is telling the truth. He should have done it in 7 weeks not in even 11.

Try to monetize your site with CPA, its way better than adsense.

What kind of site it is? Are the visitors "buyers"??? I see there's a lot of potential in a site getting 500UV/day. What are the demographics of traffic?

Cheers. Yea i've been recently trying to monetize with CPA. Is a gadgets site and yea I would say the visitors are 'buyers', so have been trying to find a good related CPA offer. Mainly US traffic but also some International traffic too!

Ontopic: My advice dont try to hard especially if you have a lot on your plate right now and this can lead to mistakes wich will cost you big time.... stay focused on the task at hand graduate and then rape google in the summer

use another marketing method beside search engine result to add more people

- your messenger, put your website to promote it

- email, let your friends know and forward them

- facebook ?

- twitter ?

- offline media ? (it's optional choice) if you really have a big hope for the website, you can put advertise at newspaper or any other media

hope it helps you to reach 1k

-go for niche sites and do submission in sites which have huge visitors base..
-use micro blogging sites it;s really helpful to get good traffics.
-use unique content and create & submit press release every day about new updates in your site.
