Ok first of all I am not newbie in IM but I am still not making money at a constant rate. Its always inconsistent. Anyway for this challenge I will start with zero. I will update this thread after 3-4 days, posting frequency can change I am only using seo.

For this challenge I will use seo and cpa. I have around 5 websites in my arsenal and all of them are at least 6 month old. Although as far as backlinks are concerned they have little to no backlinks at all. Anyway my initial focus is on one website only. I will be promoting cpa offers through this website. I will start this challenge from tomorrow i.e 18th may 2011 for 2-3 day I will only do keyword research.

I don't have any plan to quit and yeah I am doing 9 hours job too. And yeah thanks to BHW that I can think of doing it. Wish me luck :D

Yeah that's what will make things a bit easier as I will be focusing on one website. After it started creating revenue I will move on to next. In the end goal is 500$ per day.
 
Good luck and i will do it with you because also not newbie but i not make the real money yet but i will start with adsense and i have 2 clicks with 0.27 cent but i will do the best to rank #1 for keyword that have 200.000 visitor per month

Ok Now I have decided to go after 10 keywords and my condition .is they should have at least 200/day traffic.

7 keywords will be more niche related like some gadget name, particular product name etc.
3 keywords will be very general terms like weight loss.

I will give this website name "site 1"
I will promote several free cpa offers through this website. My plan is to completely focus on this website initially at least for 1st month.

One thing I won't look at all is no of websites for particular term instead I look for only first 10 website, like how much pr backlinks etc they have (very valuable lesson, for some strange reason so called seo gurus Make it very complicated)

I have come up:
2 niche keywords
1 general keyword
 
Ok I have come up with 10 keywords

7 niche keywords
3 general keywords

Gonna write seo optimized articles for them. Gotta write 10 or more articles within next 3 days.
 
I really don't like writing but anyway going against my will I have written 10 articles targeting those 10 keywords.

So I have come up with 10 unique different urls targeting 10 different keywords. I have done complete on page SEO on these pages. Now its time to work on on page SEO.

First I am going to bookmark them and then go with blog commenting. I know many would say they are not effective but everything counts in SEO.

I am gonna do bookmarking for around 3 days and blog commenting will be done everyday for next 30 days.

And guys please engage, the thread is kinda looking dead, and it looks like I am talking to myself.
 
Hey I hope you reach your goal. Are any of your sites run off wp? If they are I would suggest the SEO all in one, if you have not already decided to use it. Especially if your targeting keywords, it will allow people to find you better. Keep up the good work!
 
What about the competition ? I know you are not taking that into account, but just to get a rough idea about the keyword you are trying to rank for, can you mention the competition for those keywords ?

Well, make sure you choose good keywords, that's all I can say.
 
OK guys been doing linkbuilding now. Here's my plan for next few days and what I am currently doing and will do it for next 7 days upto 4th june 2011

Upto 100 article submission per day
Upto 50 comments per day
upto 30 bookmarks per day

I will do this for each url per day. I know its look a bit slow. But in start this is enough.

Yeah thanks for the tip. Yeah I am using wp as it is the best option available. And yes I am already using All in one seo.

Every keyword has at least 1 million competition and competition goes upto 20 million. So I see it as not much competitive.

I'm just starting, nothing to suggest really, so will be learning from your experience.
 
Keep up the good work mate and stay at it. One bit of criticism, try and add more details to your journal mate :)

OK guys here's the list of plugins I find necessary in wordpress:
1. All in one seo
2. Google sitemap generator
3. Akismet
4. Wordpress database backup
5. Wp google analytics

These are actually. I don't install a lot of plugins as theyt can mess up things. These plgins are more than enough to get started
