hi guys, I am promoting hot product on CB which hav 1000 Gravity, I am also on first page, I checked i got 500 hits last night, but i got no sale. I hav made $300 from that product in first week even i was on second page, now i am on first page and getting almost lot of clicks than before, but it's not converting now.

What do u think guys, do CB shave sales? Is there any external plugin or script that catch the proper clicks and visitors path on Sales page?

I think CB never shave?

but why i am not getting any sale, even i m getting lot of hits on hops than before!! does it mean 1000 gravity of that product is fake?

LOL, I think you're trying to promote a internet marketing product.
The 1,000 gravity is there because that product made lot's of sales in a short period of time do to JV's and email blasts.
It's not that the product converts that well, it's more likely that A LOT of people saw the offer so even only a few buy it still gets that high gravity do to all the traffic.

You should promote something outside the IM niche.

And 500 hits ain't that much, you need 500 targetted visitors to make 1 sale, that's how it is these days. It was different 7 years ago. It takes more visitors to make a sale these days.

My advice is don't focus too much on gravity, go visit the site and ask yourself "would I buy this if I was the target market?"...

I myself would never buy those high gravity IM products on clickbank as their copy sucks, all they show is lots of images of the money they are making. More like a brag letter, potential buyers are wise enough to not believe in those fake images of income. (Some images may be real but they are from the same products and not niche products, so still fake in a sense) :disappoin

AS you said i need 500 target visitors, yeah i am having all targeted visitors, bcz i am not doing anything else, i am getting all traffic from SEO only. My website is on first page on 5 th position rite now. I think u are rite the Gravity of that product just bcz of high conversion in less time. btw i sent email to vendor and let him know that sales are not converting, it's really very low, i probably quit CB bcz these days People are much smart they do refunds a lot.

Just because a product has a gravity of 1000 (like Profit Monarch) doesn't necessarily means its converting for affiiates. 1000 G means about 1000 affiliates have sold the product in the past 60 days. But this is relative. What if there are 10,000 affiliates selling the product? That means only 1 in 10 affiliates are making sales. What if 20,000 affiliates are selling the product? That means 1 in 20 affiliates are making sales. In other words gravity doesn't take into account competition. There is a product called Satellite Direct that has a gravity of 200+ on CB. However, there are over 100,000 affiliates promoting it. Thats 1 in 500 affiliates getting sales. Get the point?

There is a another Clickbank thread here that goes into detail what I am explaining to you here:

Code:

That thread is a must read if you use clickbank for affiliate marketing.

Or you can try with some other CB account... It happened to me long time ago...

Get yourself a fresh account and promote with that acc's aff link :)

Bk...

You should compare your bonuses with other
marketers' bonuses. You have to give at least
10 times the value of the promoted product.

No Sale and you created this thread ? What you want us to do ? Buy from your CB affiliate link ? If other clickbank affiliates are like you, there is NO sale on a particular day, then BHW members are going to be very busy answering it.

I suggest you try some other niches, every newbie is getting into the internet marketing niche. Instead try something else like relationships or health etc.

Page 1 with 500 hops and no sale? Highly impossible...unless...

It is most likely that you are CSing. It is against the terms of CB to have CS shit on your webpage. CB is smart to detect this, what usually happens is that the hops registered but no sales will result out of it.

Even if you registred 10,000 hops there will still no be sale. Remove you CS quick before your whole account gets busted.

I think you know what I mean ...

Well he did say eh made $300 last week on page 2 so you would expect he would still be making money now on page 1. But i have noticed a big decline in sales the last 3 days for all my products....

hmm, actually i was hiding my hop with some script may be that is the reason, but as for now i changed that thing, do CB count sales for now or do i open new account for its? I don't wanna loose sales.

Edit : I am just masking my affiliate link, when user click that link they will never see my hop in their browser, does it count as CSing?
