Actually some very highly respected SEO experts here offer guarantees. I'm signed up with Leith who offers a guarantee of positive movement first month (or they work free until there is). I'm sure there are others offering a similar safety net.

So lets say someone does rank your site for $500 then what? SEO is an ongoing process and if you don't continue you will quickly start losing your rankings.

With $500 learn some seo technique, and do it your self, no one can give grantee for 1st page even you wanna pay $5000. Forget it, its an ongoing process, and you have to continue your project,

Thank you guys for all replies.

First of all, I have bought quite few services from here and from WSO by the time, but none of them gave me those results that would make me say "Damn, I am gonna buy that service again".

Secondly, I've just realized that I was kind of desperate when I've posted this topic and I was getting lazy. I don't say I do know SEO, but I have the basics. I am gonna start working again and get the bacon home.

No one can guarantee rankings, and anyone who says they can is lying.

Also, $500 is not enough.
