500 following/day limit on twitter? is this possible?

i cannot follow more than 500 new people/day 2-3 days ago, is this possible there's a new limit? twitter is worse and worse...im lucky to start twitter when the limit was 2000/day, 500/day not too much and i bet it will be less in no time (2-3 months)

Yup, happened to me as well adding ytd.
Luckily i have 31k followers :P

yep, i know it bro...

i have accounts 20k+, im not an aggressive follower that means e.g. my followers are 20k, im not following more than 20k, so the number of my followings and followers are about the same (i'm allowed to following 22k in this case), but i couldn't follow that number, only 500/day about 2-3 days ago...so i think its a new limit
 
Same thing here, i hav 31k followers but can only follow 500, so it must be a prob. theit status didnt mention bout anything
 
They set a limit say if you have 2k followers i think you can only follow like 500 more than the people following you.
 
Since when they put this rule? Where can i read about this? Because i didnt read about it anywhere including their status page
 
twitter keeps limiting the following amount. I hope they get a better server and allow us to get back to 2000 following a day.

Yeah they keep limiting follow option. I'll make more accounts and follow 500 per day. I still can make the same revenue if not more. Tracking though will be a bitch, lol...
 
I hate twitter for doing this.. i feel its dumb

The CURRENT limits as of today:

  • 1,000 updates per day
  • 1,000 direct messages per day
  • 100 API requests per hour
  • Follow limit (seems to be 500 currently)
