Hey everyone!

I wanna purchase a laptop to run scripts and large programs
My budget for this purchase is hardly 500$


What computer would you suggest me ?

run script as in 24/7 ?

better find standar laptop than, than use aws to run your script.
well find spec with at least 500gb ssd. dont' buy one that give only 64gb ssd.
8 gb ram, and ryzen 5 cpu equivalent is enough
 
You can get something cheap with good stats on the second-hand market but beware.

I always got my PC, GPU in the second-hand market but maybe I just had luck.
 
I suggest you go to the refurbished section on ebay or amazon. You'll get more bang for your buck and get a device that is still extremely capable.
 
HP Budget laptops. DON't go for other low quality Chinese brands. Don't order from amazon. They mishandle products and refurbished on amazon is grey market parts.

Always buy from official HP store. Also check out Windows 365

Agreed I got 1 laptop and 1 pc both refurbished, laptop is running non stop for last 5 years, pc for last 2 years.
 
One thing you must look out for in purchasing a PC, be it laptop, desktop, tablet or whatever kind of PC should be the processor speed. Ram you can upgrade, secondary storages you can upgrade, but if the processor speed is low, it's a problem especially when you decide to upgrade other features of the PC. Look out for either Corei3, Corei5 or Corei7 PCs.
 
Have you considered renting a VPS instead? $500 buys you years of service running 24/7.
