500$ budget - suggestions to start making money?

Hi guys, I'm looking for some advice, I managed to gather some money and now I want to invest it, just not quite sure on what exactly? I was thinking about buying a domain/host make a blog and later use adsense? ...but I don't know what to start writing about plus this is going to be the first time I'll try to do something so I don't know how to do keyword research, competition analysis, link building, etc …I know the basic concepts(watched some YT vids) but I'm a newbie. Please help me :( I'm not expecting to make tons of money from the beginning, I just want something to start with and make some money. I'm from a third world country, english is not my native language but it doesn't matter I just want to learn how to make money online.

if it were you, what would you do with these 500$?

the best is to start with print on demand so its basiclly free just use canva or gimp and maybe a creative fabrica subscription for 20$ or less / month & you can start uploading design on redbubble or teepublic & you can blog about it linking to your product ( so you going to design about a nich thats interest you & blog about it but lightly cus you just link & describe the item & talk about it )

good luck & my advice to you stop consuming content but start doing when we were enfant we learned to walk & talk by walking & talking & nothing else
 
You do not know something :> You start learning it.
And you are at the best place to lean. $500 is good enough to start a website and start earning from it.
 
Spend on domain and hosting costs first, I suggest.

Do not waste that money - keep it and first read journeys in the forum.
I would suggest you to start with social media with CERO investment and lots of work - but first you need to chose what you feel more comfortable about - Soccer? Gaming? Movies? Adult? Memes? Pets?... and start from there.
 
If you're into building niche sites, read through all threads in journeys section.
That should help you get started.
 
Start reading about websites creation + elaborate a plan for it (detailed), then invest based on that plan.
 
Thank you so much guys! yeah I'll start building niche sites, I think I understand the concept... the only thing I'm worrying about is the tool/tools I'll need in order to do keyword research and competition analysis, I understand that Ahrefs is probably the best out there but is a little bit too expensive, can you guys recommend me any other cheaper alternative? thanks in advance. :)
 
Honestly, with such a low budget I would avoid starting a blog, moreover it takes some time before being able to get back into the money spent.
If you want some advice, dedicate yourself to affiliation and use social networks to get free traffic.

Except that our genes are not tuned to work with internet marketing. I would even say it's against our nature.

I think I would just advertise my service here and there. You can make your portfolio look quite decent for 499 usd. You can do it for free too, but money will allow to do things much quicker. Read: invest in ads and reviews.

Wouldn't recommend anything SEO related unless you had some low competition local GMB ready to advertise business.

Stack money till you have $50k then think about investments. For now it's just supplemental and survival necessity.

Ahh, if you have no own business, you are surely going to advertise someone's else business. That is your choice. Just make sure to collect e-mails, phone numbers and other data, so this stuff isn't a one time thing.

OP this is a good advice.
Get something to sell in e-commerce store is best. Adsense or ads for that matter is a terrible way for a beginner to monetize a website.
 
With this amount of budget I suggest to get approved in one of the CPA Network and get traffic through Social Media (IG, FB Groups).

I also suggest to (maybe) invest a little into IG Automation, you can learn and experiment with less than 80$ but first get organic traffic.
 
Affiliate marketing could do with a $500 budget though. I remember back in 2019 when I rolled my niche site the costs neared $450 for the whole website setup.
 
Buy a book called cashvertising.

That 1 book helped me make some serious dough.

Its on Amazon.

Go buy it.

You can start without tools. Use alphabet soup to find keywords from Google search directly.

Choose a niche where you have some knowledge and which has affiliate offers.

If you don't have knowledge about profitable niches, choose a profitable niche that you want to learn about and learn as you write.

Keep the money for later when you'll have a better idea on how to spend it. You only need domain/hosting to start.

This is very good advice. I would add, keep the money but learn to write blog posts. But also learn to sell. Buy one or 2 books about copywriting. Its a skill that will make you a LOT of money.
 
1) Do nothing with that money immediately

2) Chose a niche

3) Create a BRAND NAME. Try the business name creator at Shopify. It is free.

4) Buy the domain for that brand name

5) You can start with free hosting . Google search "Free CPanel Hosting" and hook your domain to it.

6) Install Wordpress and find a nice theme for it at GPLDL.com

7) Get a free trial at the Jarvis AI writer site and have it write some articles for your site.

8) Put some affiliate ads related to your niche or demographic on your website

9) Subscribe to PLRDatabase.net or search for PLRs here on BHW so you have something to give away to build your list

10) Start making Youtube videos and shorts niche related and be sure to post them on your website

11) Start farming Instagram accounts and post your offers and videos on them

12) Create a spreadshirt or zazzle T-Shirt shop for your Brand Name Merch.

That should be a good start

Also read some of my old posts and you might get more ideas.

Only thing you should do with that money is to invest in yourself.
Buy courses and educate yourself. If you want to make money by writing - buy the copywriting course (with an affiliate program, then you can simply make money by promoting it with your newly learned copywriting skills).
Of course, you can invest that money to buy hosting, other business tools, but I can say that 99% you are gonna fail, and you lost your hard-earned money because you have no idea how to run a business.
By investing like $400 for education you won't lose anything because you are going to have that skill forever.
Use the rest of the money as a starting capital for your business, you don't need more.

If I was you, I will do next. think carefully about what you would really enjoy doing in the long term. Forget keyword researches and that kind of shit, it doesn't matter if you chose a niche based on that (not your interest) and you quit because of boredom or lack of ideas. Also, nowadays only thing that matters to google is quality of content, it is never gonna change. We are not living 2015 anymore, keyword stacking and other gimmicks are just a waste of time.

Very good advice. Without knowledge, you will spend all that money in all the wrong places.
