Is it possible to target 500-2000 long tail phrase keywords at the same time for the same website?

Of course it is mate,

i would probably recommend using 2 long tail keywords per page.

So as long as you have a website which contains 250-1k pages, then that is not a problem.

Thats really a big list.. i think it is possible. I saw so many forums rate tons of long tail keywords. But i never saw it for blog.

Yes it is... I have a blog ranking for over 170 long taild keywords and for around 3 normal ones

abso-freakin-lutely.

the more keywords the better if your aiming to create a big site.

yes you can, but don't forget, you'll have to promote it, and that's quite a lot of work...

This is the big thing right here ^^ It's very possible but all of those separate pages need promoted.

Absolutely.... just add an extension to each page like....

yoursite/longtailkeyword1
yoursite/longtailkeyword2
etc...

you can then build and build until your heart desires... just make sure your tying everything together here and there for optimal results...

At the end of the day, it will be much easier to manage than a couple of thousand sites out there floating around everywhere....

you dont need so many pages to do this, we have and website with about 500 pages with around 4k keywords

what link strategy would you employ? to make sure all pages rank well. i just wonder if making a link wheel to each page then your site need 10k web 2.0 ?

I did 1500 for one of my clients all at once. It can be difficult but, if you know how it's a breeze... Well for me but, I own an internet marketing firm so yeh.
