50% keyword difficulty in moz keyword analysis - can i do it?

Okay I found 8 keywords (all related to each other) that have around 4.7 million average monthly searches but low CPC (around $0.08). I used the Moz keyword competition analysis and it is around 45-50% competitevness for each keyword. I just registered an domain with my keyword but an extra -ing at the end.

I have never really ranked a website before and am a complete newbie. How hard would it be to rank top 10 on Google with minimal investment? Also, how long would it take?

Difficult to say without seeing the average PA, DA, Pagerank of your competitors and many more other factors.

KC 45 to KC 50? Goddamn... That's not even accounting for the fact that Moz usually misses thousands and thousands of links compared to ahrefs, so your competition almost definitely has far stronger metrics than that.

If I were you, I'd be prepared to invest thousands into paying a legitimate brick and mortar SEO company who have performed SEO for well known brands. It would likely take around 6 months in that case. But Google is taking longer to rank now so maybe a bit longer than that even.

You could churn & burn but still would need to spend thousands.

If you have to ask, you can't do it.

Okay number 6, 7, and 8 are the same site and it has 35 DA and around 37 PA. Number 6 and 7 has 14 and 10 juice page links, respectively. This site also has 52 referring domains according to Ahrefs.

For those keywords you speak of, 3 sites have already taken out Top 3, and 7 more have taken out a page 1 ranking. So - can it be done? Yes, it can be done.

As for whether you can do it - that depends entirely on your strategy as compared to those who have already done it. The good news is you can, with a bit of research, identify what they've already done. So rather than asking impossible hypotheticals on this forum, go analyze your competitors and consider whether your strategy will be effective.
