This is the first time I bought a link (guest post) directly.
I am still in the learning phase of technical SEO.
So I want to know if this was a good deal. The owner asked for $80 but I bargained it to $50.
The link was placed on the page with the most traffic. I will be buying more links so I need to know if I am not overpaying.

If the traffic is coming to your website. and your website is catering to that traffic then yes it was a good deal :)

Like if the user that is coming to your website that website engaging to your content.

I'd say that's a decent deal for it, I charge £99GBP (130USD ish) for a DA 51 follow GP.

145K in Alexa is pretty decent (though it is not accurate).
My biggest website where I receive a lot of outreach requests (or I received, before the corona virus, now only one-two a week :)) has slightly worse metrics than this website in your picture.

And I never sell a link below $100. So if it's niche relevant, I'd say you made a pretty good deal!

Is this a niche edit? It's a great deal if it's a real site, IMO. Well, unless the site has a lot of OBLs and/or looks too spammy (aka link farm).

$50 is a bargain as long as it's related to your niche.

Depends if the link is contextual, d0 follow and in the same niche.

It's a multi-niche blog linking back to my multi niche affiliate site.
It's a contextual, D0Follow low OBL.

The metrics don't say shit about the juice quality of the link, when are you people going to learn that?

Check the backlink profile of that backlink and then check those backlink profiles to see if it isn't two/three-tiered garbage link system from GSA or something. Yeah, it takes work but that is how you determine if a backlink is worth it or not, not by some dumbass metric made up by a company that has nothing to do with Google.
