50 Cent Domain Names!!!

Just wanted to pop in real quick to tell you guys about NetworkSolutions domain names.
I was going to buy a domain name through Godaddy using a coupon I found on a forum, however I couldn't use paypal and they wanted me to pay $1.99 instead of .99 cents.
So I googled Domain names and the second sponsored link said 50 Cent domain names.

I clicked on it, and it took me to the NetworkSolutions website, where I completed my domain name purchase for just 50 cents. I was leery at first, but was pleasantly surprised when I got to the final page.

I'm not sure if this offer is okay for bulk domain purchases or just single. I'm not allowed to post links here so just go to Google and search domain names. It should come right up!

I could not be paid to use NetworkSolutions. Just look at how much it costs to renew the domain.

I'm actually not a shill, a noob Yes, but a shill no.

This is honestly my first time getting a domain for this low of a price, so I was excited.
Is it hard to move your domain, towards the end of the year? I don't really see how this could be a bad thing if you transfer at the end.
Guess I'm mistaken. Sorry if my OP sounded promotional.

Perhaps I posted too soon,
I just noticed there is monthly services for everything from private registration to mobile email.
I also saw it was .99 monthly for domain forwarding. If I can't forward my domain to a wp or blogspot domain than yes this will have truly been a fail.

I'll update for sure when I finish.

Yeah, thanks! Fifty-cent first year, $35 after that.. Actually, no thanks.
 
Just because you save a buck or two for the first year doesn't make it a good deal when renewals cost four times more than with anyone else. Unless you just need a burner, then it doesn't matter.
 
Would they have a restriction of moving the domain after 1 year ? just wondering

NetworkSolutions is a very bad company to get domains from, I have one domain and I regret buying it from them.
 
I just opened the thread that there will be a .50 cent coupon.

I don't understand the hate here for Network Solutions, am I missing something?

I get that their renewal rates are extortionate, but why not just take the 50c domain and just before the year is up transfer it somewhere else like Godaddy or Namecheap?

Is there something else wrong with them?

Sorry forum. I just checked my paypal account and noticed 2 charges. 1 for 50 cents
and the other for $6.99!
It claims thats for the Mailbox, but on the page it says I get 1 free email!
Just ridiculous.
 
Dont, just remember to transfer... It's what I do with all of these registrars...

The coupon can only be used for one domain with one new registered account. The renewal price is extremely high.
 
Yes we paid .50 per year and for the 2nd year will be $30... if you used domains for year is ok, but...
 
Anyways, best of luck and hope you remember this thread exactly after one year from now, which renewing.
 
There is hidden trick attached to it, so you are not going to get the benefit.
 
Can't you just transfer the domain name for free? They don't seem to have any underlying provisos against that.
