I've never used squidoo much, do lenses get blocked alot?

I always hated squidoo and i always will. The lens in this post is locked and i went further to understand why. I found out that squidoo no longer allows most affiliate websites and content not limited to:

Dating (including how to get my ex back)
Free movie downloads.
Hoodia Gordoni.
Mortgage
Debt consolidation
Credit cards
Acai berry reviews.
Toenail fungus sales.
LoseBellyFat!
Pharmaceuticals.
WoW gold farming.
Forex reports.
Adult content.
And on and on.

Of course amazon and some other bunch of domains are in their whitelist, because they are making money off of it. When you are promoting an affiliate product, they are not making any money. So i'll pass on "let's create quality content" crap. It's completely bs.

Cb is currently in the gray area. It's not blacklisted but not whitelisted either. Probably they are trying to negotiate with cb on some % of the direct hops. If they can't get what they want, cb promotion will be banned as well i guess.

Besides of this content limitation, there's another limit on squidoo which is outbound link limit. Now we cannot post more than 9 links to the same domain. We cannot even link once, if it is blacklisted.

The weird thing is, Giantsquids or whatever the hell they are named, are totally excluded from these limitations including the outbound links. They still cannot talk about adult content but they can promote whatever the fuck they want. Read this:

"If you're a Giant Squid, you're greenlighted. You've demonstrated that you are a topnotch, dedicated lensmaster in the community, and as such, you're free to publish at will.

This means your lenses won't bump up against our SquidDon't junk topic filter.

And you won't have any outbound link limit on your lenses.

(The no X-rated content part still applies, though. And of course, if you spam or copy, we'll lock your stuff. But you wouldn't!).

WTF! It's because they are making money, helping squidoo make money and driving traffic. So they are allowed.

This new TOS pissed off so many people and i think people will start looking for alternatives soon. And you know what? Fuuu*k You, Squi-d*ooo!

Should i create a linkwheel with english articles or should i translate them into greek?

It is my understanding that you wont get any traffic from the articles. Rather the linkwheel will boost YOUR DOMAIN into first place.

Depends on what your promoting. The guy from this example actually changed his method now and he uses a content gateway (that means you can't watch the tv episode until you complete one of his affiliated surveys). If your going to do movies or shows this is definitely one of the best movies.

**edit the guy who owns this site changed the structure of his mini net.. Or am I just having trouble finding his outbound links to the 2 blogs?

Not sure if its been said yet, but just wanted to add.

Squidoo will lock your lens if its anything to do with piracy. Graboid, Megavideo, Torrents, Streaming sites, they will lock it. Trust me, i ranked number 1 for several "Twilight" Phrases and they banned my whole account.

Had a little trouble with my first link wheel. This definitely helped!
