I have a wordpress theme that has some encrypted code and i cant get around it. I can usually remove it easily, but this one is a bit tricky as its in the functions.php and if you edit something in the footer you cant use the theme.

If anyone can get rid of the footer links for me (by way of editing functions.php encrypted code) i'd be most grateful!!

You should extract the html output from your blog and add the required stuff to your blog's footer file (removing the credit link). I guess this should work fine.

In most cases, extracting the html should work but, if you have any issues, I can decode it.

I could decode it also; it should just be encrypted in Base64 or such...

You might want to try running the code through a 'Base64 decoder' or something.
