You will need to include the rich markup in the body of the HTML. I suggest searching for microformat product mark up it's really easy to implement.

If you guys need a hand PM me what you want and I will show you how to do it.

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies, found some code:

    Code:
    <p>
    div itemscope itemtype="[URL]http://data-vocabulary.org/Review-aggregate"><span[/URL] itemprop="itemreviewed">site.co.uk</span> <span itemprop="rating" itemscope itemtype="[URL]http://data-vocabulary.org/Rating">is[/URL] ranked <span itemprop="average">9.8</span> out of <span itemprop="best">10</span></span>. Based on <span itemprop="count">775</span> user reviews.</div></p>

I got this from one of the sites and tested in: http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets shown by elvis :)

what if the site doesn't have any reviews yet? do we just replace:

    Code:
    <span itemprop="best">10</span>

    with:

    Code:
    <span itemprop="best"></span>

for example, so when you do get reviewsd they show up?

    cheers guys

    Graham

If the site doesn't have any reviews it doesn't matter. Google will still pull the results up.

This is the code on my site:

    Code:
    <div text-align="center" itemscope itemtype="hxxp://data-vocabulary.org/Review-aggregate"><span itemprop="itemreviewed">YourDOmain.co.uk</span> <span itemprop="rating" itemscope itemtype="hxxp://data-vocabulary.org/Rating">is ranked <span itemprop="average">4.8</span> out of <span itemprop="best">5</span></span>. Based on <span itemprop="count">12</span> user reviews.</div>

    Hi Sound,

    Thanks mate :)

So your site does have reviews (12) so what would we put on a new site?

    this?

    <div text-align="center" itemscope itemtype="hxxp://data-vocabulary.org/Review-aggregate"><span itemprop="itemreviewed">YourDOmain.co.uk</span> <span itemprop="rating" itemscope itemtype="hxxp://data-vocabulary.org/Rating">is ranked <span itemprop="average"></span> out of <span itemprop="best"></span></span>. Based on <span itemprop="count"></span> user reviews.</div>

Then as the reviews are brought in the digits will appear?

    cheers mate

    Graham

I'm not sure what you're saying. You don't actually need any reviews.
Even if google places has reviews, this will override it.

For my site I said it has 12 reviews. You can change that to any number you want.

I say it's 4.8 out of 5 non my site, but you can say it's 10 out of 10 if you want. It's entirely up to you.

When you use that code be sure to switch out the xx in http.
I haven't been here long enough to post URLs without having to mangle them first.

The iritating thing about the schema.org code is that it makes your site non wc3 compliant. Run a wc3 test after using the code and you will see what I mean.

Google does normally find the reviews, but (for now) this code will override it.
