Google the problems word for word one at a time. Always works eventually.

Wait about half an our, and prepare something to donate me :D
Let's say Moneybookers :D

well 23. :P between 82 -> 03 is 21 years so i guess 47-16 = 31/21 is average yearly increasement :P then just calculate for b) id say 39h37min ;)

dunno if im right though

Sorry! now whole maths gose out of my mind. Now only thing I understand that is Making Money On The Internet and finding new ways and reasearching new ideas to make money.

Dude, these are pretty simple algebra questions, and if you don't know the answer to the first one, you won't solve the other ones. I'd suggest you re-read your book/chapter :)

Been a LONG WHILE since secondary school and did them in a hurry. Double check it.

Good luck

1) y= 5x+7

2) y= -5/2 x - 35/2

3) a) c= 31/21 t + 16
b) 39.62

4) x shouldn't be -1/2 ( sorry, can't find the symbol for "different from" )

5) a) 23
b) -3
c) 4

21) 5x + 7 (remember - y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the intercept).

22) For 22, solve for y, then use the above strategy / equation) - I'll let you do some work.

24) I forget which is the domain and which is the range, but I think that the domain is all x where x is not 0.5 (because that would make the denominator undefined.

25) a is -23, b is -3, and c is 4

I hope that you are younger than about 14

umm...seriously...how old are you cable kid? I mean come on, they are elementary. I walked in expecting something related to advanced mathematics on the lines of 3-d vector algebra or something. :D

@ secretboy- ironically enough, I made my first money on the Internet writing an essay about Hungarian culture for some school kid.

Dude im 18 LOL..

Only thing on my mind is $$ I know how to + and i know how to -

Traffic + Cpa = $$ Thats all i know.. All i need LOL

No But really. Thanks to everyone here.. I feel asleep during this chapter. Math was never my strong point English and History is. Thanks again everyone!

Wow, can't believe you answered these questions. You're not helping him. What will he do for tomorrow's homework?

Are you going to do his homework for the rest of his life, then make him money when he finishes school.

You're absolutely right, my friend. Did it in a hurry for the fun of it and didn't really take a look at the bigger picture. Actually, I came back to the thread to post sth. along these lines. Glad you pointed it out.

Anyway, not that it makes it any better, but if Highschool in the States is similar to what it's like in Argentina, results are by themselves pretty useless without the reasoning behind it. So, cablekid, let me try and make up for my wrong: If you need assistance in understanding the subject, feel free to PM me and I'll see what I can do. I won't be solving any more problems for you, obviously, just helping you with any doubts you may have on this - that I can still remember, btw-.

Thx again, hexalor. I'll be more careful next time.

I like how he didn't get the first one. You obviously aren't even trying. If you cracked a book open for 1 minute and looked at the section you were doing, you'd see that slope-intercept is y = mx + b where m = slope and b = y intercept. Thus, that's a plug in.

I would do the rest, but the answers are already here, and linear graphing was like Chapter 2 in Algebra II this year.

I didn't get anything for doing your homework yesterday :-(

This thread is a perfect example of why many people fail at parenting.

Many of us have a propensity to help others find immediate gratification, rather than help them for the long haul.

Solving his problems for him: immediate gratification
Telling him to get lost and crack a book: long haul=WIN

Just saying.
