4X game source code

Anyone have any idea if the makers of mobile strategy 4x games like Grepolis, age of fire, vikings, etc are buying some premade serverside and client code? They all seem very similar.

Im not talking clash of clans style games here, more along the lines of travians and ogame but in mobile.

Anyone know a good source for high quality source code like this? (No chupa and such)

Im looking for a high quality code base to develope further, not really just a reskin base.

The game type im talking about it pretty complex and involves server side code which works with the client side.

Wondering if anyone is aware of a reliable source for this game type, surely there must be a company selling this, since it seems many of the games made in this style are similar.

Its not bad per say, just not what im looking for
