$4K to be an affiliate?

Anyone seen this new membership site yet? @ffili@temembership dot com. Pretty ballsy of them to charge members $3995.95 upfront plus $49.95/mo. (yeah, I had to do a double take - thinking they had a typo). For that AWESOME price ;), you get a turnkey solution (i.e. a website, reporting and tracking, and automatic access to affiliate products - probably under their master accounts). A solution like that may or may not be worth $4K to a noob (I certainly don't think so). But it doesn't look like that big chunk of change includes any tools to drive traffic to your four thousand dollar site. :eek:

If the proprietor is someone on BHW, no offense. Great job though! I hope you get lots of members.

How did I find this gem? I came across a poor soul's affiliate website on g00gle. If that poor soul is a member of BHW, you should probably kill yourself now :p

Yeah that does seem to be a ridiculous price and I'm willing to bet that everything he has to offer on his membership site can be found here on BHW; and it's free here. Anybody who pays for this is a fool.

Doesn't matter of the owner is a member here or not, still way too high.
 
Its funny, but imagine you were running that, you would only need a sale a week to be rolling in it.

This is actually what we'll most likely be seeing in the future imo.

Think about it. That network will have 0 blackhatters and only big time white hatters. Flawless.

That site is terrible. All the pages look the same and it's as though they just copied the base design from affiliateDOTcom

This isn't a program for people that know what they are doing with IM, this is for people who want a turnkey system to get into the world of IM. You can make a killing with these sorts of programs if you market them correctly. There is no sense paying $4k for something if you can already do the services they provide. Remember, some people don't even know how to register a website...but they have cash!
 
Not that i would personally do it, but for somebody that wants to start out in IM but doesnt have the time to start from scratch but has some money to "invest" it might be great for them..... To bad they dont know that they could get the same stuff for Under $100 if not free. The network would probably have a better chance of selling some memberships if the dropped the price down to $995..... because at that price a noobie would not hesitate to get a "turnkey" operation...

The idea in principle is not bad. The site and way it's promoted means they are totally taking the piss asking for $4,000 from people.

Have you even been there and gone through the links? All the pages are virtually the same boasting about their "featured" advertisers. Not to mention I can't even find a single example of these god like templates they are supposedly offering.

Links at the bottom of the page do not work. No contact telephone number or address. Domain has WHOIS protection on it.

Seems like a total scam to me...
 
That may be bullshit but how is it different from what many of you are doing with blackhat marketing, e-whoring, cookie stuffing, and posting fake ads on CL? Heck, half of all CPA networks are scams by nature.

Slight difference don't you think in "scamming" some pervert for 20 bucks and taking $4,000 off a prospective online business man

I doubt someone will pay $4000 unless they know what they're getting into. Or unless you're a lucky Nigerian.

Haha, well the dude with that site is just scaling it up. I'm sure many of us would still continue to "scam" some pervert if the payout is $100 bucks. But business is all about perceived value based on targeted demand. Noobs will think the site is worth the 4k so they buy it. The site owner is filling that gap. If he doesn't do it, somebody else will. It's a matter of who can cash in with a certain niche. CPA networks are successful because they fill all kinds of demand from consumers. People want free stuff, winning stuff, quick fixes, automatic solutions. If you can do that, you'll be successful.

If we really want to be generous, we should just tell everyone about BHW and save them the money of buying anymore info marketing products.

Not that I want to promote The People's Court again (it is on right now actually LOL) but go search for it here on the forum. There was a case where a guy was suing over a $3,000 system It's all in the pitch. And remember, a lot of it is perceived value. I was at a seminar where people were paying $1,200 for a simple website. All of them used the same basic template, only the domain name was different.
