I currently turn my android phone as a hotspot using a 4g sim just so I don't have to buy a dongle.My question is, will buying a dongle give me supperior download speed?Thanks.

Find a different area closer to cell towers or buy signal boosters ( it works, tested myself )

With a good broadband connection, one can download large files faster. But, if you are not downloading large file often, then even your android's 4g hotspot would be more than sufficient for your internet marketing tasks.
