4G Proxy Selling question

I am looking to setup 100 x 4G proxies

Let's say I ran all 100 x 4g proxies in the same room (rpi/4g router setup)

Obviously at some point I'm bound to have the mobile carrier phone me up and ask why there is 100 mobile phones in my house, rather than the employees I told them it was for

OK. If I said I use them for my Social Media business, they MIGHT be ok with that as its not against T&Cs

BUT would they be able to track who is connecting to these 4g proxies to people I have sold to from all over the world (reselling their connection is against T&Cs)

Let me know your thoughts, and if you have a solution as I'm not looking to risk legal action.. thanks

(I know someone mentioned once a faraday bag, but surely this would block incoming connection as well as outgoing, and would not help)

I have 3 running right now with no issues, but how far do you go?

Pay attention to the radiation, try to get more location, no much space needs for that

They might not ask you, especially if there is nothing wrong with them (eg. abusing their network). Just because they are in the same location, with the GPS disabled, there is still a tolerance of a few square meters between each device's location because your ISP can't identify the exact (within centimeters) of your devices.

You have answered bellow saying that it's against their terms. However, for this, I would double-check with the provider because there are some providers that don't explicitly mention "social media" in their T&C, but they don't allow personal plans to be used for business.

You can email them (to have their written consent) and ask if you can use their plans for business purposes.

Yes, they can see the IP address of the person connecting to your devices. But I highly doubt they will track them down.

Thanks for your replies. I have a mobile business plan so that is OK. I will try it and see if I get any issues

My question is how do we know that not another 100 customers are logging in with their social media accounts, on the same IP that the mobile ISP has provided you?

You think you have a dedicated mobile proxy, but other ISP customers are also receiving the same IP.

We manage the networks for a dozen providers around the world plus we have 100+ sim cards in the office for testing and whatnot. 99% of mobile carriers do not care what you do with the SIM cards, they'll more likely be happy to have you as a costumer. This is only true if you're a company.

For example, my rep with my local carrier does know what a proxy and he said he does not care when I tried to explain it, he just laughed and said call me when you need more.

Some strict carriers might do a field check to verify that you have as many employees as you claim, but I've never heard about this happening.

They can't track "who" is using the SIM cards, nor is it possible for them to know that their connection is being resold. They can however track the IMEI and know that it's used in a USB modem/dongle, at which point you can just claim it's for testing devices or anything like that.

people using proxies will always do legal and illegal things
that is the nature of proxies, and try to avoid bumping threads
almost 3 yrs old
