4g location irrelevant?

Provider states that Instagram doesn't currently take in consideration the IP Geolocation when logging in from a mobile IP.

Yay/Nay?

I don't agree, I think it is important that account proxy has the same location where it was created (at least the country.)

It is even more important if the account is not only being botted, but also used with a mobile phone.

What if the 4g is from a different state? ex 4g is from colorado, client is from oregon

As long as it's in the same country, I think it should be pretty good.

From my experience:
When you login from a distance higher than 15km you will get "suspicious login attempt".
So... I think the same is for bots, closer == higher trust score.

That's what i know regarding ipv4/6, don't really have any info on this with 4g, i heard it's not as "strict"
