4G dongle restart speed

Hi all,

E3372-320 is too slow to restart the device, anyone have some other dongle suggest?
E3372-320 need 1 min to restart then connect to 4G signal .
i don't recommanded e3372-320 anymore.

Hi Bro

E3372-320 almost need 1 min to restart then change the ip .
going to find restart dongle within 20s

why restarting ? Ip is changed either via changing LTE band, or switching Network mode to 3g then back to Auto. It takes normally 10-20 seconds, of course it depends on the Cell Operator how fast it reconnects.

The above makes sense when the modem is in HilLink mode. Whet it is in CDC or Stick mode, you just issue a AT command (change bands or netmode) and then restart the PPP or wvdial or ModemManager connection.

You should not use e3372h-320 (the new webui is terrible and dongles are really unstable & slow), I recommand you to only use e3372h-153 & e3372h-607 models.

Right, but I haven't seen much trouble with them (320). Some crappy ZTE MF or Anydata are much worse.
