As the title says.

I set myself the deadline of launching my blog on the 1st April (inb4 April Fools Day jokes) and as it is Mothering Sunday tomorrow I'm pretty much gonna have no time to work on my blog (maybe the evening) so today was my last big day of doing tasks to get my blog ready.

I've done all the tasks I set out to do today (proud of that) and there's a few bits I should be able to do tomorrow evening, just final tweaks, but I keep getting that feeling I've missed something important. I'm trying to switch off from it now but it's just gnawing away at me a little bit.

This is a bit of a "off my chest" post, maybe I'm just panicking and I need to trust in myself that I've got this?

Did anyone else get this kind of paranoia before they launched their blog? I want to switch off from it now as I don't want to burn myself out, but I don't want to forget anything major.

Any thoughts?

Never launched a blog myself, but I am in the process, reading from the post I learned that I should have kept myself a deadline as well. I think everyone has a paranoia before the big day.
All the best wishes, it will great. Good luck.

What kind of things could you forget? A blog is an on-going project that is never complete. The most important thing is getting your content public as soon as possible. You can always make changes, and you should always be making changes and improvements. I think you are definitely over thinking it! Don't worry so much.

1) check how it looks on all devices

2) check website speed test if it’s very slow delay it, and optimise it first

3) have you put up social icons on

4) have you added about, privacy, terms and contact page, set up email subscription form

5) do you have at least 10 unique content articles with 500 words each.

6) have you added ssl

7)set up your console

For a launch this should be suffice, what you’re feeling is excitement and it’s healthy to feel it.

Show it to your friend/wife/colleague, just to any person who will take a new look at your project and advise some changes or usability hacks.
