I got rid of my 43k account for $250 but I had offers of up to $500 but I was impatient

Can't really say a value without seeing the account. There are many Instagram accounts for sale at Ebay. You may get some idea if you go through the listing.

The price depends on many things, including:
-Are your followers real?
-Are your followers oriented around a single niche or not?
-Are your followers mostly from a single country, for ex. USA or not?
and many more things.
Check those first and see the prices for accounts similar to yours. Then you will know the true price for your account.
