450k twitter followers account restricted (no sms code)

Hello my twitter account (450k real followers) which is responsible for most of my income today got restricted. I had this before and it only needed the sms verfication. The Twitter account is over 4 years old and running over HOME Ip and my own real phone number.

But: I clicked ''Send code''...No code came. I was nervous.
Clicked ''Send code'' again and again and now it says ''try again later''. Too many trials.

I checked email but no twitter email about this issue or restriction.


I certainly promote services through this twitter page which are in the grey zone but I do this for years. Never had problems. Means, I couldnt contact twitter support, because when they see what I promote and sell on my site they will notice its against their TOS probably.


Is my account now in danger? or will I receive the account maybe tomorrow (I can try later) and its just a twitter error/bug?



What can I do?

Sounds like it might be very beneficial for you to temporarily start selling something wholesome on your site until after you contact support and the account is restored....

Ok I just put the site in offline mode (currently offline etc) just in case.
Is it better to wait max 24h to try the phone verification again? maybe its a bug or servers overloaded which caused this.And contact the support eventually afterwards?
When I go on my twitter page it says: temporarily restricted.

Hope to not lose this account.

Now after 12hours the ''try again later'' message doesnt appear anymore. But the code still doesnt arrive.

What can I do? I am very desperate

Same problem with me for my local business's twitter. Locked out and no verification work. Just contact their team and they'll unlock you. I don't think its about the services you promote, but let's home they fix it.

Thanks, I just submitted a ticket there. Hope this work otherwise I lose a big account that brings most of my income. In fact thousands per months.

Well I told them that the sms verification dosnt work in the first place because I dont receve the sms code.
I responded and waiting for an answer

We can't really help in this, because the account needs to be unlocked via SMS, there's no other way. If their support doesn't help and the SMS still doesn't seem to arrive, you can try a different number i guess, but after a certain amount of attempts, you need to wait around a day to try again.

I emailed the support and today I received the message that my Account is unlocked.
Everything works.

Wow great.
And I promote service which are clearly against their TOS for 4 yearsnow.

You have 450k followers.. Damn, earn money by shoutouts etc.. don't risk it with greyhat stuff.. Stay away from that with this account! :O
