44$ in 5 Months Amazon Affiliate

Well, this is my second amazon affiliate site. Until now from this website, I have earned around 44$. It has been 5 months and I think I am earning so low.

I have not written many posts. This might be the number 1 reason. Can you guys give me some tips to boost my earning? Let's share some ideas!

Number of Words = 25k+
SEO = PBN, Web 2.0, On-page optimization from blackhatworld
Niche = Beauty
Rankings = Almost all keywords are in the 3 pages.

Looks like your not doing bad.

It seems like you have the basics down.

You seem to just need to post more content and do more backlinking.

Check your internal link structure, did you silo?, maybe optimize your articles by adding more content to them(graphics, videos etc..)

Since your in the beauty niche, I may suggest social media like instagram and pinterest.

Theres a lot you can do.

Yes. $44 in 5 months is slow.. You should of asked this question after not earning more then that in the first week.

How are you currently linking or using your affiliate links? I have a bit of experience with them, using ClickBank atm.

The thing is you have started seeing some results.
I think you should do some SEO on your site.
The main purpose of doing seo is boosting traffic. and when you have traffic sales will automatically pour in.

Depends on your budget or expertise.

First of all I'd get plenty more content of good quality added to the site

So you have done 10 posts with 25k words in 5 months. That's like 2 posts per month. But did you add all those posts in one month ? I think first thing you need to do is add more posts. At least 2 posts per week. You can do review type posts with 1k words. I would add at least another 20 posts optimized on your keywords before starting SEO. Try to rank with content first once you can't push rank with content alone then go for link building.

Actually I have the same question as OP: which links would be the best to build? Currently I am doing reddit and quora, for traffic mostly, but I am pretty sure they carry some authority. Forum links can be good if the article is niche relevant.

What are other websites to use? I mean medium and such are great but that's not simple link building, but it's quite hard to write a quality article a day just for link building.

Wanted to add that it's a steep slope, so once the money start rolling in the only way is up. Then you can reinvest them into links, content, and services. You may make $5 in the first 6 months and $1000 in the first year.

My 2cents would then be to publish more content, preferably targeting very easy KW, that will increase your DA and make it easier to rank other keywords.

Also interlink all your posts, and try to get some quality and niche relevant backlinks.
