Is something wrong here? Well obviously is.

You guys probably saw that other thread I made about my new product (link in the sig).

Today (so far) I had 428 hops and not a single sale... not even a single order form impression - nothing!

That's bad... that's very bad. I think my sales page is decent enough, what do you think?

I'd appreciate any tips.

EDIT: Conclusion: google analytics just updated, noticed that all the traffic that came through that affiliate was the PTC traffic. No wonder no purchases were made.

Either the sales page sucks or the hops are not targeted (junk traffic). Not sure if you are paying for traffic or it is free but maybe the countries of the visitors are not the online shopping type.

Odd.. I've heard about issues with the affiliate side, where in which some weeks they will get sales and hops, and then other weeks get zero sales and a ton of hops. Not sure what to make of it. I've had this happen myself, but on the affiliate side. I'm releasing my own product soon, and I hate to think I have to spend time worrying that CB is somehow screwing up my sales..

BUT.. It could be that the affiliates you have are just sending un-targeted traffic as the user above said. I'm sure the more experienced affiliates you get the more sales you'll see. Best of luck

It could be junk traffic, it did show up all of the sudden (from one particular affiliate).

I don't think it's the sales page - a lot of people have reviewed it and a they all liked it.

If there are other affiliates (or you) converting with the sales page then the sales page is ok and it's just that affiliate is sending junk traffic hoping for a random sale.

I went to the site, and I must say the heading at the top was a bit hard to read. The wording just seems off.

Maybe change
"20 year-old college student cashing $15,427 of extra beer money every month"

To

"See how a 20 year-old college student cashed out $15,427 in extra beer money last month"

In fact, the whole "beer money" thing may not be needed at all..

Try "....student cashed out $15,427 in extra condoms and HIV free last month!"

The fact that it's all from one affiliate says it all. It's definitely junk traffic, I wouldn't expect anything decent from him in the future. If it was spread out over several affiliates I'd get worried though... But that doesn't seem to be the case.

yeah take out the beer money thing... and you might want to consider lowering the price a bit..

Well of these 400 hops, 220 were generated by one affiliate, the rest is generated by other affiliates, but most of them I haven't seen promoting the product until now.

@masteraffmarket : I've already reduced it to $67 from $87, you think I should reduce it to $47 ?

yeah the best thing to do is play around with the price until you find that sweet spot. and get some better affiliates
