I love these subtle positioning tactics when marketers link a word like "some" to $36,000,000 / yr.

In the real world, the word is "most". :D

Indeed, there are a lot of stories. Rise and fall, great achievements (celebrated with maximum 1-2 people or with hundreds) or huge f**-ups.
Most people I know, me included, we prefer NOT to share successes, quite the opposite. It's better for so many reasons, except 2 - the top of Maslow pyramid - self-esteem and recognition from others. It's very difficult to refrain from other people respect/envy/inspiration.

Conclusion: Most successful people are laying under the radar. Therefor, their best practices are very hard to be heard of.

$100k a year is big for folks who's living in africa, mate pls be humble and try to understand the situation on other side too.
 
This may be a complete numpty question, but having failed a few times trying IM I have to know: if this / some guy makes say $10k a day, is that $10k clear PROFIT or is that what rolls in before all the advertising / labour etc charges are taken out of the equation?

Only asking as if someone is spending $8k to get $10k in thats not so spectacular (ok, it is to me as I make the square root of diddly shit but you get my drift!)
