40k Optin + Clickbank

I have a list of 40k optin emails, all home based business leads. Dont ask how I got em. I am working with clickbank here, and would like to make some money.

Should I just setup clickbank account, and do a mass mailing to every lead for some "make money" product and wait for commissions? I know the hardest part is building a list / finding people who want what your selling - well that parts done.

Any advice? What program or service should I use for the mailings?

The Question is - from where did you obtain this list ? Does this list cater to your topic? Are they people wanting to make money or random teenagers off some chat site ?

Is this an actual opt-in ? Or did you buy it off some list peddler for $5?

Its an actual optin, and I am the only person other than 1 other guy who has it. I even have the capture page that they all came from, and its still running today. They are all good leads, and most are fresh. About 20k of them are between day 30-60.

So is it that easy, just mail to them? They ALL filled out a lead capture page for a home business. I did NOT buy these, they were all captured from PPC.

So does anyone know a good service or program to use to email all these leads? I was looking into constant contact, not sure how effective their service is though. I also looked into darkmailer, but apparently I technically would be spamming them so thats a no go.

I dont want to piss off everyone in the list, so I had planned on sending out a short email like this;

A couple weeks ago a program called XXXXX
was released, and all my friends have been

I am interested in your service, however my concern is that my leads will be sold and resold once you have them. Nothing personal, but having access to everyones high quality lead lists allows you that opportunity. Thoughts?
 
I am active on a few forums like this and some private contact who send me lists sometimes daily but mostly weekly/monthly of fresh new emails. They pay me to mail, i get money so it makes no difference to me. The best way to check i would think is to throw in some random emails to your list which are your own, which means you can see weither the list has been re-sold if you know what i mean. make fresh email, brand new hotmail ones etc then that way you know any emails coming through will be from the list you gave me.

Do you understand were i am coming from? also trust is a big thing, but i can assure you i dont mail out anyone elses list, i use my own opt-in that is targeted towards the niche's that i advertise for.

How about I pay you, and you give me access to your servers for 1 day so I can do the mailings?
 
How did you do the Opt-in? If you used a commercial autoresponder you can just do the mailing through that...

If you use a mailer with a sender the opt-ins aren't expecting, your conversions are probably going to be crappy.

..unless you were thinking of cookie stuffing.

Why not consider building your own autoresponder. There're lots of free script out there..
 
DAY ONE- 14k BLAST.

Today I blasted 14k leads my email with affiliate link. Stats are;

424 Hops
7 Sales
0 Refunds
0 Chargebacks
$213.47 Commissions

Can anyone tell me how long it generally takes for people to open the emails? I threw in 4 emails from yahoo, gmail, and hotmail and all of them hit the inbox. I think the name I used might make some think it was spam, so I might do another mailing using a company name instead.

Thoughts? Input on how long it takes to get some real money coming in from these leads? There are still 13.5k people who havent clicked my link.
 
You may have cut your own throat.

I think it may have been more profitable building rapport with your list giving them free information leading up to the product/affiliate product you're promoting.

Just my 2 centuries.

bla, not what I wanted to hear

Its now at 600 hops, 9 sales, 350 bucks about. No exact figures because I cant login atm.
 
I cant let anyone access the server, it runs off my own software and the lists it contains are clients i have so i cant put that in the firing line. I can send out the full list in an hour easily.
