Hello everyone,

I had a great niche that I was promote alone without any competitors. At the last month, someone made a site with same niche.
I don't care about his site because it looks really ugly. But the main issue that he is clicking my ads to waste my budget quickly.

I have 35-40% CTR !!!
Its crazy. You know that its ridiculous.

What can I do ?
I had to stop my campaign because he wastes my money.

I tried to track the IP with Clicky but it looks like he is doing it from many IPs or mobiles.

Thanks in advance
Hope you can help me:eek:

Nothing to Do if You Cant Track his IP. Just stop your Advertisement for few days.

Thats what I am doing.
But when I start the campaign after few days he is doing it again.

Hey guys,

Thanks for replies but I am using Adwords not Adsense :)

Try contacting google / whatever network you are using about your problem.

What are the advantages in this move?
It would cause his adwords account to be banned. But then he could just as easily do this to you as well.

So it's a can of warms you most likely don't want to open.

install statcounter. find the ip that is clicking 100X and do an ip ban on your sever

Getting click rates of 35-40% is not ridiculous. I have many ads getting this sort of rate and more. Has it not occurred to you that your ads are that good? Yet you think competitors are clicking your ads to drive up your spend.

In over ten years doing Adwords, I have never run into legitimate click fraud. The system has checks and balances so this doesn't happen. In fact, it goes overboard as I've seen conversions without clicks. So I'm very confident that Google works hard at preventing click fraud or anything that may be interpreted as such.

Best advice as mentioned by others is to call them and express your concerns. They'll look into it.

If you have your tracking setup good, maybe you can set your targeting to exude the location the bad clicks are coming from.

Also if you campaign is above board, you could try Google Support, and complain about the fraudulent clicks.

There is no retragiting pixcel where you not show you add for same member

Agreed.
Best way to figure out if your clicks are of any value - connect your Adwords account to Analytics. It shows you average session duration.

More click fraud guys click, land, then hit the back button and click again. This shows a high bounce rate and low average session duration - then you'll know if your CTR is legit or not.
If it isn't legit, talk to your rep.

I had this happen to me a few years ago and my AdWords manager tracked it down and the person was banned and tracked. Your AdWords manager is really efficient with issues like this

Best option is just to get in touch with Google (adwords manager) before You get into bigger trouble. You won't solve that on Your own we had similar situation in the past multiple clicks from mobile networks
