4 years wasted for nothing

Sorry to hear that's been your experience friend. I'm currently finding that not be true at all though and I'm just starting out. I should clarify that I mean I'm just starting to take action but I have in fact read this whole forum front and back over the years. One thing I noticed is that I started out by gravitating to the Making Money sections of the forum because I wanted to find a newbie friendly easy money method like everyone else. What I've learned since then is that the making money section is probably the worst section to frequent if you actually want to make money since it's filled mostly with either people asking how to make money or some guys that are sharing a method because it's either saturated or they're about to move on to something else.

Some of the best gems I've found have been in random threads that I've came across with less than 3 replies. I literally am doing the method I'm doing right now because I came across some random ass thread where some dude mentioned a youtuber who had a very small following but put out content that he could make major money on if he was willing to sell himself out and become a "guru". Another goldmine I came across was literally guy 1: "Hey guys I came across this thing thought I'd share it." and guy 2 saying, "shut the fuck up and keep that shit to yourself". I'm paraphrasing as I don't want to draw attention to it but it was literally a fucking goldmine.

All in all I've searched far and wide on the internet for IM strats and methods. I have over a million karma on reddit and know more people there than I do in real life and I will say there's not a more central resource for information on IM than there is here at BHW. Not only that but there's a lot of people here who are willing to share information and help other people. In the last 2 weeks alone I've probably added over 20 people just from this forum to Skype.

I don't know why I decided to respond to this in such a lengthy way but I think part of it lies in the fact that I have a bit of loyalty to this forum and while your experience might be typical of an average users experience, it's certainly not typical for the people that take the time to appreciate it for what it is and really take in the resources here.
This post is amazing

in any case, any business requires investment. both financial and spiritual, too

When I see accounts like yours on the forum it always makes me laugh because it makes me think of a person being at a party where there's an explicit rule that only certain people are allowed to sell things. But the person I imagine is wearing a shirt that says he sells things. I imagine this person to be walking around the party acting very inconspicuous and yawing loudly while he makes mannerisms and gestures to push out his chest and try to draw attention to his shirt while everyone else at the party is weirded out.

Don't judge me as this is the brain I was born with.

I agree. In french we have an expression for this, the translation would be :

Culture is like jam, the less you have, the more you try to spread it around.

:)

When I'm in my 80's looking back and I'm not going to wish I'd spend my time down at the pub making fart jokes with my "buddies". If that's enjoying life, go for it.
All points i totally agreed on you but you fall short in this.
life-work balance is most crucial things in this.

ask people who are in dead beds who said they made enough money to survive for 5- 7 lifetime.
when ask about last wishes They would say something different, they will never say making more money.

Money is just a tool don't make it life.

Life is a about experience.

again work-life balance is important.

i hope you get my point

Let me give you an advice.

I am successful in IM.

The biggest reason of my success is, i had an offline job when i was starting my affiliate site so all the house expense was covered by my job and i just spent some extra time on my affiliate site after the job. If i was feeding my family from the affiliate income then i would not be able to make it a successful site.

IM is just a bluff originated from the success of a few people to fool the majority who could have earned thousands of dollar in offline simple job in the same time.

The people who say 9-5 job is death. They arecthe kind of people who arecactually not successful andvhey dont know that how much security a job provide. And, most of the time in office you actually do nothing. In one office i was literally reading pdf novels on my pc on daily basis.

Good luck for your life

I had started my IM journey in 2014. A person without any basic knowledge about online services but I wanted to do something coz I had heard that some people were making money without owning any website (reseller).
After just hearing all that I wanted to explore n earn some bucks online. I used to spend 2-3 hours daily in a cybercafe shop coz I didn't have a computer.
In 2015, I had bought a computer for few months. I earned nothing as a result of failure n due to some family issues I had to left that city after my graduation. Internet wasn't at a good situation in my village but I wanted to do something coz I wasn't satisfied with my first failure. Then a very good friend of mine who was living in our capital city called me. He wanted me to stay with him for 1-2 months. I couldn't refuse coz he had a pc with good internet connectivity. I decided to stay with him. After 1-2 weeks, I had received my first payment. 5-6 dollars but this first small payment meant alot.

Suddenly, I got another job payment in $$$. I bought a computer for myself. After, coming back to home I was ready to start my new journey but some medical issues n I had to stop everything. My parents didn't allow me to run my pc all day. I had to stop everything for 1-1.5 years.

When, I returned back to IM. Things had changed a lot. Fewer works as compared to 1-2 years ago. Now, internet is full of people like you n me. Everyone wants fo earn hefty amount ;) I wanted to experiment so many things in IM but right now I don't have enough money.

At last I will say : You can earn money online.

“If you can quit, quit. If you can't quit, stop complaining"

Sry for my bad English.

Work-life balance is for people who work for others.

Ask who that's in their dead bed?

It's NOT about the money. That's the whole point.

It's about living to your maximum potential and building what you wanted to build.

Do you think Andrew Carnegie regreted his life on his deathbed and wished he'd just spent more time with family and friends? No. He didn't :) If he had any regrets it would be not being able to donate all his money to causes he wanted to donate to.

Andrew Carnegie gives you insight into the mind of a real entrepreneur.

Making enough money to "survive" is by very definition a pure fear mindset. People who are very successful are not interested in making money to survive.

It's about achieving your dreams. Whether that's to send a rocket into space, colonize mars or just simply see how much damn money you are capable of making, because it's a game.

That's what Andrew Carnegie did. The game of money. At the end of it all he gave as much of it away as he could. Do you think the world was worse off because of him? Not only did he revolutionize America, he donated so much money all over the place for the next generation, that the majority of it you wouldn't even know was because of him.

99.99% don't understand the mindsets of billionaires.

Do you think Elon Musk wants work life balance?

And in fact, what you find is most successful people when they retire, get damn bored. There's only so many rounds of golf you can play. Only so many beaches you can sit on and do these guys really want to be spending all their time with their grandkids?

The problem is, the vast majority of people who talk about work life balance have NO idea the joy you get from building your own company. From making real money. From seeing something through to fruitition. The power to create.

When you work some shit job with an asshole boss who drives you mad, then yes, you ABSOLUTELY need work life balance.

When you're a self employed small business owner, or someone with a handful of staff and porsche payments to make, then yes, you need work life balance, because your job is hard.

If your net worth is $50mil+ and you're running companies with over 50 employees, and growing year on year, then you do not need work life balance. You wake up in the morning, EVERY morning like a kid on christmas morning. I do most days. I fucking LOVE my business. I get so damn excited I find it hard to switch off. I get ultra bored watching movies and TV. I couldn't think of anything worse than sitting about watching movies all day and having balance. The thought of not being able to work for 14 hours+ a day, or as long as I want is PAINFUL. It's like pulling me out of the waterpark when I was kid.(Heck, it's like pulling me out of the water park now ;) )

Not everyone SHOULD be an entrepreneur.

Some people love to write.

Some love to paint.

Some love to code.

Some love to copywrite.

Some love to design logos.

You can certainly make good money doing something you love, but the core problem is 85% of the population is unhappy, and they think money will make them happy, and they think the way to get money is running a business.

The key to happiness is first, do what you love, then find out how to make more money doing what you love, and as you do that you find you don't actually need anywhere near as much money as you thought, because every day, you are doing what you ENJOY.

4 years ago I started IM and I earned some money promoting dating offers on Facebook but after 3 months Facebook changed algorithm and the method died. After that I started SEO but never made more than spent. Always buying links and articles and results close to zero.
I feel like im wasting my life and money on internet for nothing trying to make good money, while my friends working offline and enjoying their life.
4 years of my life passed and I'm 4 years back. Now I don't think it gonna change anything in my life if I will keep working on the internet and I'm sure 99% here only spending money and their time trying to be successful.

Better go find offline job or do offline business instead of spending money and time for nothing on internet.

It is much better to work 12 hours a day offline for 80 euro instead of trying on IM to make some money but 99% of times you will waste your time and money.

I don't believe anything here anymore. I worked hard on my website but results zerooo. I'm tired of this life. Nothing works anymore on the internet.

Sorry if, think you've wasted 4 year's without gaining any experience!

Within this 4 year's did you sit down to analysis your marketing strategies perhap, you could be doing things the wrong way?

well, point of clarification. yes, it's possible to make a quick cash if, you decide to go back to the old traditional job. However, this will not give you any fulfilment or freedom you always desired

most of us working online knows its possible to make quick cash working offline but, there is nothing compare to online biz when the money starts rolling-in. Because of this, we keep researching, training ourselves and waiting patient for the appointed time by constantly revealing & evaluating the success stories of other's.

I hope some of tips help to motivate you.

Thanks

I.M = online business
There are thousands of different types of techniques and businesses, for you to earn money online.

It's unfortunate that you feel this way, but just as it takes time invested to scale up in the offline arena, the same mindset and perspective is true about scaling and achieving success online. The same principles that people apply offline, apply online. We tweak and we try different ideas and keep going even when we fall on our faces offline so how is it any different online ? It sucks to be frustrated but you wouldn't throw in the towel offline so keep your head up and keep the faith. Just keep grinding.. you'll find success eventually. Just don't quit when you've already invested so much already.

You didn't waste your time online, you have learned so much informations. I think you have to stick to one thing and have proper knowledge and then start a successful campaign on fb.

There are so many methods out there. Follow your passion and serve people then you will make it happen for sure.

OP has no real skills, he just forced himself to believe that the path he used (buy links and whatever he planted) will be enough to make a good profit.

Years have nothing to do with your skills, and buying any service is not a good move

Everything you need for IM is website+hosting (paid works better) rest of things you learn yourself

That means: rank a keyword, video, get organic traffic

When you learn these, you can then boost things and have a safe profit with your investments, because you'll be aware of things you need to do

And you don't need more than 4-5 months to master SEO, so, you are just a random guy who want to pay for success......

For social media traffic like YouTube, you can earn $2000 month from a one-few videos only, just rank good keywords, provide good content, monetize with CPA

(but no, I wanna sit and pretend that I done all the hard work, I know that shit, just...something ain't working today)

Yes I was in the same boat as you are. I run an offline contracting company and fell out of the game in 2016 when I was hit with the 10th "slap in the face" as I call it. Yet, here I am again 4 years later getting back into the game. As others mentioned you need to not think about the money and enjoy your progress/journey learning and adopting.

I literally wasted 20K trying to reinvent the wheel back 10 years ago (I was 18), for to have nothing to show for it but paper. It's all about mindset and rolling with the punches. I work my offline business and side hussle. The side hussle income I now generate I invest, not live on.

Mate i "wasted" about 7 years trying multiple methods
Now i'm earning more with IM than my offline job

if you have huge d1ck , be a p0rn actor , the money is very good and you will be very satisfied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
