So its been 4 years now, what have I learned ?

  • Never go on BHW IRC expecting to get any kind of help
  • 90% of information on BHW hasn't been tested, is made up or is hysterical whining
  • Most people that sell services are just in it for the money, feeding off the enormous (and ever growing) pool of newbies that are 'chasing the dream'. They couldn't care less if you actually rank or make money. Most of them probably haven't even ranked their own sites with the techniques they are selling.
  • 99% of internet marketing guru's are full of shit
  • The best place on BHW nowadays is the shitlist section (solideducational value there on how not to be scammed + lots of lulz + OldSalt handles everything like a boss)
  • Anyone with "SEO secrets" is never going to share this in a method, ebook or on this forum because - WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU? Think about it... (*awaits shitstorm about people that give back to the community*)
  • Ignore people that lick your ass and overuse the word sir
  • The JR VIP section is a club for people with a blue name
  • All the fun is on IRC

That's about it, needed to get that off my chest. For all the people expecting a sentimental story on how i went from rags to riches or something, sorry!

I feel the same as you do that was the reason to stop posting on the BHW Forum. I just read the Shit List section and having fun on the IRC as you do :)
About the rest - you are 100% right and for sure will make a nice move this thread (if will stay alive)

If you are not able to earn anything then dont blame BHW. Only a d**k can say all these things mention in OP.

Sorry.

I have never been on the IRC and perhaps there are people who are making up bullshit methods but i don't agree with your overall theme. BHW has been massively helpful for a lot of people here and for many it has provided a great way to make full time income. There is tons of valuable info here.

sorry to say but you do not belong to the forum but the IRC is your best bet :)

As if you rookies haven't got any value from BHW. I may not be a millionaire yet but when I think back to when I joined BHW, the amount of stuff I have learnt since then is pretty awesome.

Some valid points ... especially about SEO.

But I have read a few helpful threads making it worth my time.

Most forums and sites about SEO don't know as much as they say they do. Google is always changing the game and don't tell us enough of what we need to know anyway.

- If you want proper help, go to people you know, you trust or have been recommended - far more sensible than going to strangers

90% of information on BHW hasn't been tested, is made up or is hysterical whining
- Surely that means 10% of the information can help you make money?

Most people that sell services are just in it for the money, feeding off the enormous (and ever growing) pool of newbies that are 'chasing the dream'. They couldn't care less if you actually rank or make money. Most of them probably haven't even ranked their own sites with the techniques they are selling.
- You can make a reasonable assessment of what's good and bad though

99% of internet marketing guru's are full of shit
- 99% of ALL gurus are full of shit

The best place on BHW nowadays is the shitlist section (solideducational value there on how not to be scammed + lots of lulz + OldSalt handles everything like a boss)
- The SL is full of examples of people doing zero due diligence and ignoring warning signs
- Fully agree about OS. He does an amazing job there.

Anyone with "SEO secrets" is never going to share this in a method, ebook or on this forum because - WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU? Think about it... (*awaits shitstorm about people that give back to the community*)
- Anyone buying 'SEO secrets' or PMing newbies asking for such, is a fool
- Many people on this forum share valuable methods, tips and tricks. Some people like to help others. If you want to think they are all lying, that's your loss.

Ignore people that lick your ass and overuse the word sir
- This is true everywhere, not just on BHW

The JR VIP section is a club for people with a blue name
- Have you ever been Jr VIP?

All the fun is on IRC
- No idea, never used it.

BHW is just like the rest of the world - you get out of it what you put into it.

Inspirational story OP, brought a tear to my eye.

What more did you want?

A freaking cherry on top?
