Hi guys, I recently started to grow this 4 years old account, in the art/tattoo niche but, I'm not getting the desired results (engagement) should I:

  1. Restart in a new niche (related)
  2. try new content (I think would be the same as a restart)
  3. Sell it & invest in a bot (for how much?)
  4. Keep it just for fun

Thanks!

Hi,

Do what you like to do. You can start a new niche if you like to, but if you do like tattoo/art then keep it for fun. And ofcourse if you want to grow you can invest in a bot, i use FL.
For example, i love sneakers so started a sneaker IG. It's not growing fast but i like it. I got 12.1k on it right now and that's a good start for me.

I actually own a 5 acc license of FL, looking to upgrade it to unlimited, that's why I'm considering in selling this one.

Changing niches wouldnt decrease my engagement even more?

I understand. I think if you change your niche it will decrease your followers. Because they followed you for the tattoos and not for something different in there feed.

Experiment using another account while you find new ideas for the aged one.

Don't change your niche on the same account.

It will definitely decrease your engagement even more.

If it were me I'd either try to restart engagement by posting new stuff, or sell it. If you need the money I recommend you sell it, especially if you're not exactly passionate about it. Maybe I'm naive but there's no point in keeping an IG account that you aren't passionate about - unless all you're doing is growing them just to sell them.

Whenever i test Waters in a Niche i Set Certain achievable goals if they are reached i write more goals
Lot of Projects fail if you know about it you can save lot of time and money and put those accounts in a Dropbox folder every thing has a time their time will also arrive

That's what I'm doing so far, trying to restart it with new content related to my niche & increasing the frequency of my posts, gonna give it a try, if this doesn't work I'll just sell it and invest into a FL upgrade, Rearrangement.
