So I've started SEO for about 3-4 months now and I've noticed the #1 roadblock in my SEO plan is getting high quality content. It either costs a pretty penny or takes way to much time to write it out. Especially those "quick" 500-word articles on random keywords. I'm just not the type of person to pound out thousands of words on various keywords. So I've been compiling some methods to overcome this roadblock and am deciding to share it with the BHW community since I've learned so much here. So to no further ado, here it is!

    1. Expired Domains

So this kinda popped in my head after the whole Yahoo Voices debacle. I got tens of thousands of articles and was hungry for super-niche relevant articles. So I got them from previously expired domains. For example, lets take the niche crossbows. The first thing you gotta do is type up the keyword at expireddomains.net. Make sure you sort it by DP (Domain Pop) so that it filters out those spammy websites.

Then you basically take the URL and copy it down at the Wayback Machine. Then you click one of those circles and see if it yields any content. I usually go back a year or two so I don't see those domain parking landing pages. I recommend looking at the top 15 or 20 domains and then just look for specific keywords in the domain after that like "crossbowreviews.com" or "barnettcrossbows.com" or one of those. Usually it just screams "MICRO NICHE" at me.

As you can see, on only the second domain, we got an AWESOME guide to crossbows, ripe for the picking. And these sites almost always have other high quality articles and guides. What's better is that you can always stick these on a Web 2.0. I've asked several reputable members if using broad-niche content on a Web 2.0 was okay and they said it was absolutely fine. I took it a step further and started ripping the About Us and Privacy Policy pages and stuck them on the Web 2.0s. This whole process took me about 3-4 hours and I ended up with around 75 money-site quality articles. Writing those would take much more than 3-4 hours and paying for those would be a big blow to your budget. Don't believe me? Let's do washer machines:

There's at least another 10 or so good articles there.

    2. Video Transcripts (good for Amazon reviews)

I got this from a member on here and I couldn't find his guide, but it's a very ingenious way to get good content. You basically take a software called Dragon Naturally Speaking and throw in an mp3 so it transcribes the video. So download the video you want, convert to MP3, and throw it at Dragon. This is awesome for Amazon reviews, you just have to take the pronouns like "this side" and replace with the general term. Even better are those informational content like finance or something. I personally don't use Dragon since it's too expensive and the torrents didn't work, so I use Adobe Premier:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4P50OL2_I0

Good guide to use Adobe Premier.

    3. Newsletters (great for informational content)

So this is a pretty effective method to get A+ grade content that isn't indexed by Google. The first way to do it is to basically search your keyword + newsletter. That yields some good stuff, but it's mostly websites emailing you content on their websites or it's pdf's indexed by Google. It's really half and half. Sometimes you get video newsletters which you can use with method #2.

The much better would be to search for your keyword+organization. Then look at the websites and try to find something like newsletters or journals or something like that.

Then just sign up and wait for the emails. The really good ones have a set day where the newsletter comes, so sometimes you gotta wait. However, this one was pretty instant.

There you go! Extremely high quality content published by grounded organizations that you can just take! Better yet, none of this is indexed. Oh, and there's one more surprise:

That's probably around 200 articles in the weight loss niche. Go wild!

    4. Books!

Books are probably the best type of content you can snag, and it's easier as well. But books are generally for broad niches and informational. So if you're looking for an Amazon review or something, you're outta luck. When I rip a book, I usually rip the entire chapter which amounts to 3000-4000 words.

To do this, go to this website: http://guides.aclibrary.org/librarycard
Register for an e-card. They don't verify or anything, but put a Fremont address. Then go to the online catalog here: http://encore.aclibrary.org/. Then just search your keyword and make sure you select online in the left hand.

As you can see, it's extra high quality content right there. There are a couple more steps though. First, search the title on Google and see if Google Books has an eBook edition for it. If it doesn't, then you're good to go.

Then just click on it and the website will ask for your card and last name. Type those in and download this Adobe Digital Edition file format. You can't copy and paste with that though, so install this:
    http://adobe-pdf-drm-removal.en.softonic.com/
And run the file through that. You should get a fully unlocked PDF to copy and paste. As said above, I usually rip the whole chapter as a "monster post". You could always search torrent sites like thepiratebay.org, but I find those books are sometimes indexed. One last way is to find magazines relevant to your niche and search at torrent websites. Those aren't usually indexed and good for niche-relevant Web 2.0 content.

So my fingers hurt from posting that. I hope this was useful and good luck!

Great guide OP, the only issue I see is if you use an article that has been already ripped by someone else, I know you can check if someone already used it, but what if someone copies the same article after you, will this ring the adsense bell?

Great share. I didn't know about method #1.

For method #4, you can just join private torrent sites (big ones) and search there for eBooks, you will find a tone of them. If you are lucky enough to join TheVault you hit the jackpot.

Really smart. I was using the way back machine on my expired domains and just reusing the content. I never really thought to just do this for any niche though.

Thank you very much for sharing... I will have to try that and see how well it performs. Are you sure Google won't recognize the content and just ignore it?

Nice Guide Buddy, In Method 1 Don't Forget to Check if the Expired domain is still indexed in Google or not... If its not, then its good to go with the method. Also one must Copy few sentences from the articles and search in google just to be sure that the content is not already used Elsewhere.

    Thanks
