So today, i wanted to check my moneysite backlinks profile and through Ahrefs, I saw 4 backlinks from different subdomain of web 2.0 properties (example1.webgarden.com , example2.webgarden.com) etc. It have my money site naked url in the middle of the content which makes absolutely no sense but somehow talking about my niche which seems no sense and spammy spinned content.

Have anyone been in this situation before? Why is this happening to me? What should i do? Disallow those links? Is those neg seo?

Thanks for your help guys.

Are you sure the domain you are using hasn't been previously registered before you registered it? You can check at waybackmachine.org?

Highly doubt it's negative SEO, more likely it's someone using an automated tool to build links to his site. Check the web 2.0 properties for other links, and it's likely you'll likely find another site also getting links from those pages. The owner of that site is including yours as a co-citation, believing it'll help make his links stronger.

Personally, I wouldn't do anything, as I doubt these links will hurt you and may even help a little bit.

I've had these weird kinds of links show up on .xyz domains... it doesn't seem like spam because there isn't a shitload of them, and the anchors are surprising well distributed. I have no idea what the point of these sites is though.

Its just 4, safe to ignore, sometimes people put related random links grabbed from search engines for your keywords.

The site is a brand new site that i created. Clean history.. Maybe it's just co-citation.. Thanks guys.
